Profits are Better than Wages – by Jim Rohn

Jim Rohn – Profits are Better than Wages

In September 2008, Jim Rohn spoke to me from the cd player in my car.

I had just started my new business, and my sponsor had recommended one of Jim’s audio CD’s “Building your Network Marketing Business”. As I listened, I was enthralled by Jim’s charisma, has passion, and the way he told magical stories to illustrate his points.

I loved his philosophies…

  • “Work harder on yourself than you do on your job”
  • “For things to change, you have to change”
  • “It’s not what happens to you that determines your future, it’s what you do about what happens to you”
Jim Rohn - Profits are Better than Wages

Jim Rohn – Profits are Better than Wages

Profits are Better than Wages

One phrase in particular struck a chord with me. Jim said “Profits are Better than Wages”.

I liked the sound of that. It felt like the sort of thing that a business, an entrepreneur, or a mentor would say. So I waited for Jim to expand.

… but he didn’t.

I wanted to know more. Why are Profits better than wages? I know it sounds right, and my gut feel was good, but I needed to be able to understand why.

I kept reading more and more of Jim’s works, listening to recordings of his seminars and conferences, but never really heard any more to explain what he meant.

Then, finally, many years later, I was just listening to that original cd, just in the background, not really thinking about it, and suddenly a light-bulb went on in my head.

I suddenly had an understanding of WHY Profits are Better than Wages.

This is my reasoning…

You are paid a wage for the hours you work. Jim says you are paid for the value you bring to the market, but it takes time to bring that value, and if you are in a job, you get paid an hourly rate.

That could be £5 an hour, £10 an hour, £50 an hour, £100 an hour.

However – there is a limit to what you can earn on a wage, because you can only work so many hours a week. Maybe 40 hours a week. So the maximum you can earn is 40 times your hourly wage, per week.

If you want to you could take another job, maybe then you would be paid for 60 hours a week. But you can’t make any more hours in the week.

Profits are different.

You make a profit by selling something, a product, for more than you paid for it.

Let’s say you have a product that costs you £20 wholesale, and you sell it for £25. So you make £5 profit on each item you sell.

Now at the beginning you might only sell one or two a day, as you grow your business.

But if you are smart, and you use the internet to help with your selling, or you have a team of people who are selling for you, then you could sell 5 a day, or 10 a day, or 100 a day, or 1000 a day, or 10,000 a day.

… and you make a profit on each one you sell. So there is no limit to your profit. You can earn far far more.

10,000 x £5 profit a day is a lot more than 40 x £5 per day in wages.

That is why Profits are Better than Wages.

Online Selling with Kleeneze and Facebook

Introduction to Kleeneze

Introduction to Kleeneze

Everyone knows Kleeneze.

Well, lots of people do. It has been a well known British Brand since 1923. Originally, salesman knocked door to door to sell brushes and cleaners which they carried in a case.

More recently, distributors delivered Catalogues to houses in their area, and customers placed orders with the distributors.

But now there’s a new kid on the block! Or rather, another way that anyone can earn money as a Kleeneze Distributor: The F-word.

Kleeneze and Facebook

Selling Kleeneze Products on FaceBook

Since the end of 2014, distributors have been advertising products from the catalogues on local buying and selling groups on Facebook. Customers come round and collect the goods, and pay the distributor then. This has opened up a brand new market for the Kleeneze Distributor.

The Catalogue side of the business is continuing to grow – new catalogues with a whole new range of products have seen an increase in earnings, and if you have 10-15 hours a week free, and you’d like to earn a little extra, that could be perfect for you. Catalogues appeal to an older generation of customer – they may be retired, have lots of time, and love browsing through the catalogue with a cup of tea. The personal service when you deliver their goods to their door is what keeps them loyal to you for year after year.

But on top of that, a whole new range of customers have been seeing the products on their Facebook buying and selling groups. Products with a money-back guarantee, and a local distributor so they don’t have to worry about sending things back in the post if they are not happy. These customers use Facebook a lot to communicate with friends and family, and they can easily browse an online shop while they have five minutes waiting to collect their children from school etc.

Alongside both of these methods of earning commission from your own sales, there is still the opportunity to grow a much bigger residual income as a Kleeneze Team Leader.

This online selling has also opened up the team building side of the business. If you are recruiting people to be Kleeneze distributors, sometimes you will talk to someone and explain how it works, and how much they can earn, but if they are not willing to deliver catalogues in the area, then they might decide it is not for them. However, maybe they would be happy to spend a couple of hours on Facebook promoting their products via their online shop, then they can build a nice part time income from the comfort of their own home.

Most existing distributors agree that doing both is best, as you get orders from your catalogues, AND online, but you can certainly make a start on one, and then introduce the other.

Kleeneze Catalogues: How to earn money with them

Kleeneze catalogue

Can you earn money as a Kleeneze Distributor?

I am sure you’ve seen a Kleeneze Catalogue.

Distributors have been delivering Kleeneze catalogues to homes around the UK and Ireland for over 25 years. So if you haven’t received one, your mum probably has.

Have you ever wondered if YOU could earn money as a Kleeneze Distributor?

Well this article should help you to answer that question.

In a way, there are two questions to answer.

1) Can someone earn money delivering Kleeneze catalogues?

2) Can YOU earn money delivering Kleeneze catalogues?

I have deliberately split the question into two, as there could be two different answers.

Can someone earn money delivering Kleeneze catalogues?

Of course. Being a Kleeneze distributor is very simple. If you can copy a postman, you can become a Kleeneze Distributor. If you can show someone how to copy a postman, you can become a Team leader. It really is very simple, but I will expand on that in a moment…

Can YOU earn money delivering Kleeneze catalogues?

Now here is the thing. Many thousands of people earn good money as Kleeneze Distributors, but that doesn’t mean that YOU will.

Why? Well being a Kleeneze Distributor is simple, but that doesn’t mean it is easy. You have to be willing to work. You have to understand that not everyone will order from you. The more catalogues you deliver, the more people you find who will order from you. After a while, you stop delivering to people that don’t order from you, and you only deliver to your regular customers.

This is called having a Customer Base, and it can take you three to six months to get to that point.

If you quit during the first 3 – 6 months, you will miss out on the huge benefits of a customer base.

So in order for YOU to earn money delivering Kleeneze catalogues you need to…

  • Follow our easy system.
  • Commit at least 10-12 hours per week.
  • Speak to your sponsor regularly.
  • Attend the training (local meetings, online webinars etc)
  • Don’t give up because you had a bad day. The most successful distributors have had hundreds of bad days, but they have also had THOUSANDS of very good days.

It’s pretty simple really.

Your Customer Base

The people who are earning good money delivering Kleeneze catalogues are those that saw the bigger picture, attended the training, persevered through the good days and bad days, and continued delivering their Kleeneze catalogues until they had a good base of regular customers.

There is no fixed point when this happens. You could be happy delivering to 200 customers once per month, which takes you 5-10 hours a week.

Or If you want more, then this could be 500 – 1000 customers that take you 15-20 hours a week.

Team Leaders

So far, I have only talked about delivering Kleeneze catalogues. If you think you could show someone how to deliver a Kleeneze catalogue, then you can become a Team Leader, and that opens up a whole new world of increased earnings and residual income.

How do you earn money delivering Kleeneze catalogues?

You deliver Kleeneze catalogues to houses around your area. Your customers put them out on their doorsteps a couple of days later so you can collect them. You earn 15% – 21% commission on all of your orders. If you commit at least 10-15 hours a week, you can earn a good part time income.

It really is very simple. For more info, tale a look at the Kleeneze Business Model – How Does Kleeneze Work?

Fancy a Pizza?

Kleeneze Pizza

A Pizza with the kids can be £24 or more.

If you’re like me, you love treating the kids to a Pizza and a trip to the cinema at the weekend.

How many times did you go to watch Frozen? I think I know “Let it Go” off by heart now.

…but it’s not cheap is it? You can easily pay £8 for a pizza, so even if it’s just you and the kids that would be £24. Plus the cost of the film. That will set you back another £24. So that’s nearly £50 for the trip.

If you’re not working, finding £50 for a trip out is not easy, so that means it can be a rare treat.

So what is the answer?

Get a job? Maybe, or maybe not.

One answer is to get a job. Many mums look for part time work once their children are at school. However, that can bring its’ own problems…

Will your boss give you time off if one of your children is poorly? Maybe the first time your boss will understand, but what about the next?

What about the school holidays? Who would look after the children while you’re at work? Childcare could be the answer, but that’s not cheap. It can feel like you’re going to work just to pay for the Childcare. What’s the point in that?

Then after a long day at work with your boss moaning at you, you get home feeling stressed out, and you really don’t feel like listening to the children tell you about their exciting day. How guilty does THAT make you feel?

What would else could you do?

Maybe something where the hours are flexible, so you can choose them to fit around the school run and your other commitments.

Grace just wanted to be there for her boys.

Grace just wanted to be there for her boys.

Imagine being there to pick up your children from school every day; to listen to their stories, meet their new friends, and see their new paintings that they are so excited to show you.

How about working for yourself, with no boss? Then you can take time off when you want to, and work longer hours if and when you need to, and when it suits you.

Interested?

Then let me tell you about Kleeneze. This could be the answer you’re looking for.

Kleeneze is a Home Shopping Business that has been helping people earn extra money, working from home, since 1923.

Direct Selling Association

Direct Selling Association

Office of Fair Trading

Office of Fair Trading

Kleeneze are Founder members of the Direct Selling Association, and are approved by the Office of Fair Trading. So you know you’re in safe hands.

How does it work?

You earn money by selling products from our wide range, delivering and collecting catalogues to houses in your area, or by advertising products online using local Facebook groups. You can increase your earnings by doing both.

If you want to earn more, you can become a Team Leader by showing others how to do the same. This is also the way to build a residual income.

How much can you earn?

As long as you commit 10-15 hours a week to your new Kleeneze business, you can earn a good part time income. Take a look at some of these examples. Perfect for treating the kids to that Pizza and a trip to the movies.

To see how you would do that, take a look at the Kleeneze Business Model – How does Kleeneze Work?

Your earnings can increase as you get to know your area better, and your customers get to know you, like you, and trust you.

If you are serious, and want to do 20-30 hours per week or more, then you can increase your earnings by delivering more catalogues, and finding more customers.

If you want to become a Team Leader, then you can earn a lot more. There are many distributors across the country earning full time incomes.

Would you be able to do it?

As long as you are over 18, then Yes:

  • It doesn’t require “education”. If I can do it then so can you!
  • It doesn’t require capital. You only pay for your customer’s goods after your customers have paid you.
  • It doesn’t require luck. Kleeneze distributors have been successful across the whole UK just by following our easy to follow system. You get full training with online videos which you can watch at your own pace, and you have your sponsor on hand to help you and guide you.
  • It doesn’t require talent. Just a desire to earn some extra money, and a willingness to work for it.
  • It doesn’t require youth – John Hawkes was 58 when he joined, he now lives on the residual income from his team.
  • It doesn’t require experience. There is no selling, you don’t need the gift of the gab, or any special skills. If you can follow a postman, you can earn money with Kleeneze. If you can show someone how to follow a postman, you can be a team leader.

Do you need a car?

A car can help. If you live in a small village, a car would be useful if you want to deliver to the surrounding villages.

If you live in a town or city, then no. Many distributors run their Kleeneze business entirely on foot, or using public transport.

But what if nobody orders?

Kleeneze have been helping their distributors earn money from their catalogues for over 25 years, so they know that new distributors across the whole country receive orders every time they deliver their catalogues. However, if you don’t get orders from the first catalogues you put out, you can simply deliver them again to other houses. There are no territories in Kleeneze, you are free to deliver your catalogues wherever you wish.

What if there is already a Kleeneze Distributor in your area?

Actually, there is already a distributor in almost every town in the country, so chances are there will be someone nearby. In fact, my sponsor lives just 200 yards from me, and when I started, she had been in the business for 9 years, so I thought she would have every customer in the town and I would have to go to a different town. However, she told me just to start delivering catalogues on my road, then the next road, and so on. So I did, and I found I got orders from houses in between her customers, as she was only delivering to her regular customers, and the houses in between hadn’t had a catalogue for ages!

What help and support will you get?

Kleeneze Venice

Would you like to be part of our successful team?

You will be part of our amazing team. You can come to our local training meetings, watch our video training, and get one to one training and support from me.

My job is to help you get whatever you want out of Kleeneze. I am just a phone call away.

What if it’s not for me?

If you decide that Kleeneze is not right for you, then you can leave at any time. There is no contract, no notice period. Or, if you’re a team leader, you could just take a break and continue to receive your residual income.

 How do you get started?

Getting started is really simple. We do the registration online. It takes about 10-15 minutes, and I will guide you through it over the phone, at the same time, I can answer any questions you might have.

Your catalogues arrive 2 days later and you’re ready to go.

In fact, if you already use Facebook and you follow our simple online training, you can be up and running after 20 minutes!

How much does it cost?

The cost of your starter pack is £25.

For that you get all of the Facebook set up, your personal coach, the one-to-one training, and 15 catalogues to help you get started on the Catalogue side.

If you want more catalogues to make a quick start, you can go for the Catalogue starter pack. In this pack you get 250 sets of catalogues, all of your order forms, plastic bags and everything you need to get started, plus the training and access to our amazing new Facebook selling guide. This starter pack costs £99.

That sounds expensive!

If you are not working at the moment, then finding £25 to get started can be hard. When I first looked at it, I decided that I would sacrifice a few things until I had enough to get started, because once I was up and running, I could take the kids out for a Pizza and a Movie EVERY weekend if I wanted to.

My sponsor showed me how much she was earning (you can read her story here), so I knew it would work if I worked, and I was right (You can see my latest cheque here).

Kleeneze works for me, and it can work for you too!

Get started today!

The Top 5 Kleeneze Problems faced by New Distributors

Kleeneze Catalogue Deliverers and Team LeadersIf you are considering becoming a Kleeneze Distributor, or if you have just become a Kleeneze Distributor, then you probably worry that there will be some Kleeneze Problems you will come across.

Kleeneze has been in it’s current form for 25 years. It is a very simple business – you deliver catalogues to houses in your area, you collect them back in. You deliver the goods back to the customer who ordered from you. If you want to increase your income you can become a Team Leader by showing other people how to do the same as you. Simple.

…and because it is simple, most of the Kleeneze problems that can occur, have already occured, so we can tell you about them, and how to deal with them.

Top 5 Kleeneze Problems

Top 5 Kleeneze Problems

Top 5 Kleeneze Problems

The Top 5 Kleeneze problems new distributors think they will face are…

  1. You lose catalogues
  2. The support from your sponsor is poor
  3. It rains
  4. It takes time
  5. It is hard work

Kleeneze Problems: Number 1 – You lose catalogues

Kleeneze starter packAs a Kleeneze Distributor, when you first start, you deliver as many catalogues as you can to the houses in your area. Then you collect them back a day or two later, and deliver them to new houses etc.

Unfortunately, some of the houses that you deliver to may be empty, so you will lose those catalogues. …and some of them will have dogs in that chew everything that comes through the letterbox. …and some of them will have children who like to drawn on magazines. …and some of them will have grumpy people in who throw the catalogue away.

So you do lose some catalogues – and as they are your main tool to earn money – that is not good.

HOWEVER – Kleeneze help you with this. In your first 30 Days, as you place orders, you receive Free catalogues, to help replace those that you have lost.

At the end of your first 30 Days, many new Kleeneze distributors end up with more catalogues than they started with.

Kleeneze Problem 1 solved.

Kleeneze Problems: Number 2 – The support from my sponsor will be poor.

confusedKleeneze operates as a Network Marketing business. This means that the person who sponsors you into the business is your sponsor. They are responsible for helping you, guiding you, coaching you, teaching you, and basically helping you get whatever you want out of Kleeneze.

But what if they are not very experienced themselves? Or what if you just don’t get on with them?

Don’t Panic! There is a solution.

If you are not yet a Kleeneze Distributor, you can choose who you would like to have as your sponsor. Do your research. If you are reading this then you already are. Well done. You will find there are lots of Kleeneze Distributors who write blogs like this, or record training videos on YouTube. Find a one who you think you would get on with, and ask them for an information pack. This will give you a chance to speak to them and decide if you would like them to be your sponsor. If you don’t really click with them, try someone else. There are many great Team Leaders out there, and if you speak to a few, you will find one who is just right for you.

But what if you have already signed up with someone, and then find that you are not getting the support you want?

There’s a solution to this too. It is called your upline.

Your sponsor will, themselves, have been sponsored into the business by someone. That person is in your upline, and will also help you. So have a chat with them. Still no good? Then go another level up – that person will also have a sponsor who is also in your upline. Keep going until you find someone you get on well with.

Kleeneze Problem 2 solved.

Kleeneze Problems: Number 3 – It rains

it rainsOK, now this won’t be news to you if you live in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, or Ireland, but it sometimes rains.

How does this affect your business? Well actually it depends on you, and your attitude. I am a great believer in the phrase “There is no such thing as Bad Weather, just the Wrong Clothes”.

Now I agree that it is much more enjoyable going out on a beautiful sunny day to collect your catalogues, than going out in the pouring rain, but one of the advantages of running your own Kleeneze business is that you can choose.

You can choose to wait for a while to see if the rain eases off.

You can choose to go out anyway, wrap up well, and show your customers how reliable and dedicated you are to looking after them.

I find it really satisfying going out in the rain, with my hood up, and returning to a lovely cup of hot tea, with a bunch of orders from my happy customers. and often, I find I have more orders than usual. Why would that be? Well if my customers are stuck in on a rainy day, they have more time to read through the catalogue and place their order!

Kleeneze Problem 3 solved.

Kleeneze Problems: Number 4 – It takes time

Kleeneze calendarIf you are just looking to earn a little extra, then you can find your first customers and earn your first profits within a week.

However, if you have seen some of the stories of people earning £5000, £10,000, £20,000 per month and more, then you are right. It takes time.

Kleeneze is not a Get Rich Quick Scheme. It is a well-founded business where your hard work will be rewarded well. If you follow the advice of your sponsor, and follow our tried and tested system for building a base of customers who will order from you regularly, and for building a team of distributors who you can support, train, and coach, then you will all achieve great success together.

Building a large residual income will take time. But it will be worth it. …And when you are earning a large residual income, and reaping the rewards that that gives you, then you will realise that it is time well spent.

Kleeneze problem 4 solved.

Kleeneze Problems: Number 5 – It is hard work

Kleeneze - Is it Hard Work?

Kleeneze – Is it Hard Work?

Is it hard work being a Kleeneze Distributor?

Well, it is not as hard as working down a coal mine. It is not as hard as being on the front line of a battle in the Army.

It IS harder than sitting down watching TV. It IS harder than reading a book.

Being a successful Kleeneze distributor is SIMPLE, but it is not EASY.

You DO have to deliver and collect your catalogues regularly – at least 10-15 hours a week. But this is just like taking a good walk for some healthy exercise, and earning money at the same time.

If you want to build a team, you WILL need to learn some new skills, and this can be a challenge if you are not familiar with being a team leader. However – many successful team leaders have achieved amazing things, with no experience, just by following the advice and guidance of their sponsor, and by following the tried and tested Kleeneze system.

Kleeneze is not hard work, but if you work hard at it, then you can achieve amazing success.

Kleeneze Problem 5 solved.

So – There are some problems in Kleeneze, as there are in life – but they ALL have solutions.

I hope you have found this useful.

Kleeneze: The Truth… (Get Rich Scheme, or waste of time?)

The Truth about Kleeneze Kleeneze Logo new

If you’ve ever spoken to anyone about Kleeneze, you will probably hear one of two stories….

  • “Nobody ever earns any money. You work really hard delivering millions of Kleeneze catalogues to people who don’t want them. The only people who make money are those who started at the beginning and have a massive team”
  • “It’s an easy way to get rich – just deliver a few catalogues, and build a team of Kleeneze Distributors who do the same, You earn commission on all of your team members, so build a massive team and earn thousands every month”

As usual – the truth is somewhere inbetween.

chris and sarah smith Kleeneze Miami

My name’s Chris Smith. My wife Sarah and I have been Kleeneze Distributors since 2008, and if you’d like to find out the truth about Kleeneze, I hope this article will help you…..

Let’s start off with that first idea… “Nobody ever earns any money. You work really hard delivering millions of Kleeneze catalogues to people who don’t want them. The only people who make money are those who started at the beginning and have a massive team”

Kleeneze is a very simple business, a flexible way to earn a good part time income. You can earn more if you are willing to learn some new skills and work hard. Take a look at the Kleeneze Business Model – How Does Kleeneze Work?

You start off delivering catalogues to houses in your area. The truth is that initially, you have no idea who will order from you and who won’t. So you deliver to every house, You are doing your market research to find your regular customers.

The catalogue pack has a note introducing you to the customer, and saying you will collect the catalogue back in a couple of days, so please could they put their catalogue on their doorstep so you can collect it without disturbing them.

Any household that does not wish to receive a catalogue can simply put a note in the catalogue pack explaining that they do not require a catalogue in future. You simply cross those off your list.

Some people order from you, and some people don’t.

You repeat this to new houses as often as you want – normally a couple of times a week. After a month you go back to the first houses and start again.

Again, some people order from you, and some people don’t. After 3-6 months, you have built up a record of those households that have ordered, and those that haven’t you can then become a lot more efficient by just delivering to the people who order from you. All of those households that didn’t order can be crossed off your list so they don’t receive a catalogue from you if they don’t want one.

You earn commission from all of those orders you received.

So at the beginning, the harder you work, the more catalogues you deliver, the more orders you receive, and the more you earn.

Kleeneze Catalogue Deliverers and Team Leaders

… and what about the second view…? “It’s an easy way to get rich – just deliver a few catalogues, and build a team of Kleeneze Distributors who do the same, You earn commission on all of your team members, so build a massive team and earn thousands every month”

Kleeneze is not a Get Rich Quick Scheme.

There are people earning over £3000 a month just delivering catalogues to their customers, but they have worked hard for several years to find those customers, and they work hard looking after their customers.

There are also Kleeneze Distributors earning a lot more than that – tens of thousands of pounds every month – having recruited, helped, supported, and coached people who want to earn some extra money and have joined kleeneze.

This also takes time and effort – you will have to learn new skills – how to explain the business to people, how to help them get started, how to inspire them, how to motivate them when they are feeling down, how to teach them to do what you do.

But if you are happy to invest some time learning those skills, you can build a team, and over time that will provide you with a nice residual income.

One of my sponsors, Bob Webb, is doing exactly that. This is my wife Sarah and I, with a photo for our Goal Board. We know that if Bob can do this, so can we. and Believe me, if we can do it. So can you…

Kleeneze Ferrari Chris and Sarah Smith

So what is the truth about Kleeneze?

It is a very simple business. Anyone can do it. If you are willing to work hard and learn some skills.

Kleeneze: When is the best time to join Kleeneze?

When is the best time to join Kleeneze?

When is the best time to join Kleeneze?

There are two answers to this question, which I will explain in a moment. But first, let me explain very briefly how Kleeneze works, based on my own experiences as a Kleeneze Distributor since 2008. (You can also view the Kleeneze Business Model – How Does Kleeneze Work)

How to earn money with Kleeneze

There are 2 ways to earn money from Kleenezethe first is the retail side – As a Kleeneze distributor you make a profit on every item you sell, whether that is on Facebook, working from home on your smartphone, tablet, or computer, or with the catalogues – where you deliver  to houses in your area, collect them a couple of days later, and then deliver back to the customers the goods that they have ordered.

When you first join Kleeneze, you have no idea who will order from you, and who will become your regular customers. So you deliver catalogues to every house, once a month, and as you find people who are ordering, and those who don’t, you gradually cross off the ones that are never ordering, and move on to a new area, building up a bigger and bigger customer base.

This is a very simple way to earn a good part time income.

Depending on how much you wish to earn from your own Kleeneze catalogues, this can take 6-12 months from when you join Kleeneze, to get to the point when you are only delivering to your regular customers. At this point you are making a lot more money putting in a lot less time, and using a lot fewer catalogues.

The second way to earn money from Kleeneze is by sharing this opportunity with other people. If you find someone else who might be interested in earning some extra money like you, and you show them how to join Kleeneze, then you earn a bonus based on their orders, aswell as your own.

There is no limit to the number of people you can introduce.

You also earn bonuses based on the orders of people THEY introduce, and so on. This can get very exciting as your team grows!

Kleeneze Income

A typical graph of your income if you work hard on the team building could be like this…

When is the best time to join Kleeneze?

Kleeneze Income Curve

As I work hard at building my business, I realised that the best time to join Kleeneze was 10 Years ago! I wish I had joined Kleeneze 10 years before I did.

However – unless you have a time machine, the NEXT best time to join Kleeneze is NOW.

Don’t wait until the time is just right – you can be building your customer base, gaining knowledge of how it works, and sharing it with some people over the next few days and weeks, and building up your residual income which can transform your life, if you want to.

You can join Kleeneze now…

Kleeneze or Betterware?

So, a quick heads up before you start reading this. I am a Kleeneze distributor, so the Kleeneze bits of this article are likely to be more accurate than the Betterware bits. However, I hope it will give you a good idea of both of these businesses.

betterware catalogueKleeneze or Betterware?

What is the difference between Betterware and Kleeneze?

Actually, the fundamentals of Kleeneze and Betterware are remarkably similar:

You are self-employed. You deliver catalogues to houses in your area. Your customers look through the catalogue, and put it back out on the doorstep for you to collect a day or two later. Some will order, some won’t. You earn commission on your sales.

The differences are in the details….

Start up Costs

Betterware is free to start, Kleeneze has an initial cost. At the time of writing, the cost to become a Kleeneze distributor is £25, or £99, depending on how many catalogues you want to start with.

This cost seems to be related to your role in the business:

A Betterware distributor seems to be like a self-employed job. You have a local area supervisor who tells you where you can deliver your catalogues, puts your order in for you, and pays you after you have delivered your goods to your customers.

As a Kleeneze distributor you are more of an entrepreneur. You can choose where to deliver the catalogues, you submit your own orders when you want to, you get paid directly from the customers, with bonuses from Head Office.

Where can you deliver your catalogues?

As I mentioned above, as a Betterware distributor, you are told where you are allowed to deliver your catalogues. As a Kleeneze distributor you can deliver them wherever you wish.

Which is better? There are pros and cons to both.

As a Betterware distributor, the biggest advantage is that there is no other distributor delivering to your area. The disadvantage is if your area is not very good, you cannot go to a different area. Even if it is a good area, and you want to earn more by delivering more catalogues, you can’t.

As a Kleeneze distributor, you can deliver as many catalogues as you wish, wherever you wish. You tend to start in the streets where you live, and move gradually outwards until you have as many customers as you want. Kleeneze Distributors overlap, and this seems to work very well. As you find your customers, and become more efficient by just delivering your Kleeneze catalogues to your regular customers, if another distributor comes along later and delivers to the same streets, your customers will stay loyal to you (assuming you are looking after them), and the new Kleeneze distributor will find their customers in the houses where you no longer deliver. Why does this happen? All sorts of reasons: People move out and other people move in. People see a new product in the catalogue, people have a change of circumstance etc…

Support

As a Betterware Distributor you will have a local area manager who gives you your catalogues, and tells you where to deliver them. They will take your orders from you, and place them with Head Office. You then go to collect your goods from them, and they pay you after you have delivered the goods to your customers. The level of support you get is very dependent on the quality of your local area manager.

A Kleeneze distributor is more independent. You have your sponsor, who may or may not be local. You also have their sponsor, and that person’s sponsor aswell. The entire upline of distributors are there to support you, so you often find that you get different kinds of support from different people. There is also lots of support from the Kleeneze Help Desk. There are local Training meetings, Regional and National Conferences.

Team Building

One of the most important differences between Betterware and Kleeneze is the ability to increase your income by introducing other people into the business.

With Betterware – most people become a distributor by applying to Head Office to see if there is an area near them which is free, They are then contacted by the Area Manager for that area.

With Kleeneze – Head Office does no recruitment at all. All new distributors are introduced by existing distributors. A new distributor can do the same. So if you start as a Kleeneze distributor, and have a friend or family member who wants to join as well, even if they are in a different part of the country, then they can become part of your team, and you immediately earn bonuses based on their orders.

You can introduce as many people as you wish.

Overall

To sum up, I would say Betterware is more like a self-employed, commission-based job. Kleeneze tends to appeal more to people who are a bit more of an entrepreneur.

I have been a Kleeneze distributor since 2008, and I am really happy with that decision. If you would like to find out more about becoming a Kleeneze Distributor, click here to get a free Kleeneze information Pack.

Who said you had to wait until you were 65 before you can retire?

Retirement. I hate that word. old people

I don’t know about you but it conjures up pictures of wrinkly old people with no money, and nothing to do but walk to the shops to buy a newspaper once a day. Is that what you want to look forward to?

Not me.

When I retire, I want to be young enough to enjoy it. I want to have money to do all of the things that I enjoy doing – travelling; driving nice cars; eating in nice restaurants whenever I want to.

and another thing – I don’t want to wait until I’m 65!

Early Retirement! Now that sounds better.

Or semi-retired – still working if I enjoy it, but just a few days a week or just a few hours a day, and being able to choose whether I do it or not. It sounds better all of the time.

So if early retirement or semi retirement sounds better to you, how can you achieve that?

Well it is simpler than you would think, and it is available to everyone. and the sooner you start work on it, the sooner you can retire. Who said you had to wait until you were 65?

Kleeneze residual income

Kleeneze Distributors earn money in 2 ways. Click here to see How Kleeneze Works. But the important part is the team building part.

If you earn some extra money by simply delivering and collecting catalogues in your area, and if you show some other people how to do the same, you have already started to build a team. And the bigger the team, the more you earn.

Now the beauty of that is that Kleeneze pay you a bonus for the sales of your team members. and if those team members decide to start building their business, and they start to build a team, then you earn money on their sales too.

This is residual income, which Kleeneze will pay you regardless of whether you put your own catalogues out or not. So you can retire or semi-retire whenever you want to – Age 25, 35, 45, or 55 or whenever you want. Just put in the hard work growing a team, and showing your team members how to do the same.

Book Review: “Thinking, Fast and Slow” by Daniel Kahneman

As with all of my Book Reviews, this blog post is not really a review, it is a summary of the book, briefly explaining each chapter.

The reasons for me writing this post are rather selfish:

  • To help me get more from the book by forcing me to STUDY it, not just READ it
  • To have a place that I can refer to in the future if I want to remind myself about it.
  • To summarise any findings that I believe will help in my Kleeneze business.

So I am pleased if you find it helpful, but I’m afraid I make no apology if you don’t.

thinking fast and slow

1. The characters of the story

Your mind has two different ways of judging, choosing, and thinking about things.

  1. The first, which is your initial reaction to an event, your immediate response, your intuition. In the book this is called “System 1
  2. The second, which is logical, thoughtful, and reasoning. This is referred to as “System 2

2. Attention and effort

System 1” is easy, and takes little effort. “System 2” takes significant mental effort.

As a result, we often make decisions based on our intuition, or gut feeling, rather than spending time engaging our logical mind and going through the pros and cons, as that seems too much like hard work.

3. The lazy controller

When we are tired, towards the end of a day perhaps, we are even more likely to revert to intuition and gut feeling, as we are too tired to engage System 2.

4. The associative machine

You can be primed to think about something in a certain way. Putting a smile on your face, will then cause you to enjoy an experience more than if you force a frown on your face before the experience.

5. Cognitive ease

If you find it easy to think about something – for example…

  • if it is an idea you have come across before,
  • if you have been primed,
  • if you are in a good mood,
  • if the display is clear and easy to understand,

….then you are more likely to think it is true, it feels familar, it feels good, and it feels effortless.

So things become more believable if they are written in a clear font, and are repeated.

6. Norms, surprises and causes

It only takes one unusual occurance, for that event to seem normal the next time it happens.

7. A machine for jumping to conclusions

System 1 has a habit of jumping to conclusions, which can be corrected if you take some time to engage System 2. Often you will base a decision on limited information, because that information is all you have to go on. Rather than seek out more information, you will decide, based on the information that you have.

8. How judgements happen

The author introduces the concept of a Mental Shotgun – your System 1 will often do far more work than it needs to, to make a simple decision.

9. Answering an easier question

We are rarely stumped for an answer (or an opinion). If we are asked a question to which we do not know the answer, we will search for a simpler question to which we do know the answer, and substitute that question for the harder one. We use heuristics (our own experiences) to find a question we can answer, and then relate that to the original question.

10. The law of small numbers

The Law of small numbers tells us that we will often search for, or assume, a cause for a statistic, when in fact it is simply a statistical anomaly because of the small sample size. There is a difference between Cause, and Chance.

11. Anchors

If you are considering a question, and you are asked about a number first, that number will affect your judgement of the question. The number is called an anchor.

That is why in marketing, a product will often be shown as “previously £15, now only £9.99” The £15 makes you think you are getting a bargain so you may buy it, whereas simply seeing a price of £9.99 may not persuade you.

12. The science of availability

The ease with which examples come to mind determines how often you think certain events happen. However, that can simply be the strength of the media. You hear in the media about aeroplane accidents because they are so dramatic, so you think they happen frequently. In fact they are relatively infrequent.

Would you choose the BMW or the briefcase?

September 2013 is a month that Richard and Claire Chantler won’t forget.

Richard and Claire are Kleeneze distributors. They work hard at their business, delivering regularly to their customers, and showing their team of Kleeneze distributors how to do the same.

At the Kleeneze Showcase in September 2013 at the Birmingham NIA, they were rewarded for their efforts. As a result of growing their business throughout the previous 12 months, they had qualified for a prize.

They had a choice – a BMW, or a briefcase. But not just any briefcase. This briefcase had £25,000 in it.

Which one would you choose?

They had a good look at the brand new BMW… Kleeneze BMW

… and then they opened the briefcase…

£25000

…… and they decided to keep the money!

Kleeneze is an amazing business, where you have HUGE opportunities to make decisions like Richard and Claire.

You might start off just wanting a little extra, but end up with much, much, more.

Kleeneze Business Coach

Have you ever thought about becoming a Kleeneze distributor, but wanted a bit more responsibility? Something that would make better use of your skills?

Maybe you already have some experience of being a team leader, or a manager.

Perhaps you have been self-employed in the past, and have experience of running your own business?

You should consider becoming a Kleeneze Business Coach.

Let me briefly explain the different roles within any Kleeneze team:

Kleeneze Distributor

Catalogue DeliverersA Kleeneze Distributor typically earns most of their income by their own efforts. See the Kleeneze Business Model – How Does Kleeneze Work?

They deliver and collect Kleeneze Catalogues in their area, and deliver orders to their customers.

They need to be organised, have good customer service skills, be hard working, and be willing to learn.

By following our system, and taking on board the training, and delivering your catalogues regularly, you can earn a little extra each week, just to help cover the bills, or treat yourself at the weekend.

Kleeneze Team Leader

Kleeneze team leaderA Kleeneze Team Leader can a good income by delivering to their own customers, but a larger proportion is earned as commission from their team’s orders.

A Team Leader is responsible for recruiting new starters, and showing them how to be a Kleeneze Distributor.

As well as the skills of a Kleeneze Distributor, they also need to be a good communicator, to help and support their team.

If the Team Leader consistently recruits, helps, and supports people who join the business, and start placing orders from their own retail, after a few months the Kleeneze Team leader can earn a full time income.

Kleeneze Business Coach

Kleeneze business coachA Kleeneze Business Coach may still have an income from their customers, but the majority can be from their large and growing team.

As well as recruiting new Kleeneze Distributors, you will be responsible for identifying your team leaders, coaching them, and supporting them to grow their own teams.

Your skills will include those of a Kleeneze Distributor and Team Leader, but in addition you will be ambitious, determined and persistent. You will have good Coaching Skills, be a confident presenter and trainer, and have a constant desire to learn new skills.

A Kleeneze Business Coach who develops a team of successful Kleeneze Team Leaders can earn a fabulous residual income  as their team grows, and they train their own Team Leaders to become Business Coaches themselves. This can take many months, or years, but it is a worthwhile effort, as the majority of their income will be a residual income, as a result of their efforts recruiting, training, coaching, and supporting their team.

Summary

As you can see, Kleeneze has a role for many different skill sets. Many people join Kleeneze as distributors, to simply earn an extra £50 a week, but they become Team Leaders and move on to become Business Coaches with large residual incomes, as their experience grows, and they learn new skills.

So if you would like to learn more about any of these roles, click here for a Kleeneze information pack.

Kleeneze Distributor: A typical day

A typical day in my life as a Kleeneze Distributor

Catalogue Deliverers

What is a typical day for you? I guess it depends on your situation, do you commute to a nine to five job, work hard, then commute home? Do you get the kids’ breakfast ready, get them ready for school, take them to school, wash, clean, pick the kids up, make tea….?

We are all different, but if you’ve ever wondered what it is like being a Kleeneze Distributor, then I hope I can enlighten you. You can see here how Kleeneze Works.

Every day is different, but this will give you an idea. I work hard on my Kleeneze business, because I know the rewards will be fantastic. A fantastic lifestyle, holidays whenever we want to take them, residual income, early retirement if I want to, making sure I can treat my children whenever I want and so much more. I know I will achieve all of these things, but I have to earn those rewards, so let me explain how I am doing that….

A typical day

kleeneze successI wake up about 6am, and spend an hour working on my Kleeneze business marketing. This might be writing a Blog page (like this one), or creating a Google Adwords campaign for example. As a Kleeneze Distributor, growing my Business is the most important daily task. Growth now gives me the security, income, and lifestyle for the future.

Kleeneze shaveA quick wash and a shave, and then about 7:30am, I go out and deliver my Kleeneze catalogues to my customers. This is the part that most people associate with being a Kleeneze Distributor. I deliver about 100 catalogues, once a week, to my regular customers. When I first started I delivered a lot more than that, as I was finding and building my customer base. A new Kleeneze Distributor delivers around 250 catalogues a week to get started. I now get the rewards of that 6 months work at the beginning, as I only deliver to regular customers, so it is a lot less work, and a lot more income from their orders.

Kleeneze feeling smug

So by about 9am I come home, and I really enjoy my breakfast. Most people are only just getting into work, and I already have my catalogues out working for me, and my marketing is out, finding new team members for me. I have already had a productive day, and it is just 9am. I sit there with my mug of tea, and my toast, feeling very smug.

But I don’t stop there. After breakfast, I make some phone calls to people that have responded to my adverts overnight. Maybe they received one of my leaflets, or saw an internet campaign, or read an article on my blog.

happy-phone-callI love this part. I have a quick chat, to understand their situation, and to see if Kleeneze will be able to help them. I get to speak to all sorts of people. Mums that want to earn some money around the school run; Hard working people who are struggling to find work, and are sick of being on benefits; Professionals who are worried about their pensions, and want to build a secure financial future. This variety makes my day.

After speaking to each one, I send them a Kleeneze information pack, which explains to them about becoming a Kleeneze Distributor, and how Kleeneze might be able to solve their problems, and improve the quality of their life.

Kleeneze parcelforce

Once a week, around mid-morning, Clive, our ParcelForce driver, delivers my orders that I collected from my 100-or-so catalogues I had delivered last week. I sort the goods into my different customer orders, and put them all in the car ready to deliver.

As I drive round to each of my customers, i give them a quick call to let them know I’m on my way. They like this, so they can get their money ready, and they’re not surprised when I knock on the door. This is a great part of my week. All of my customers have stories to tell, about their day, or their week, or their life. I love listening to them, sharing a few minutes and enriching my life and theirs, in just a small way.

Kleeneze cup of tea

In mid-afternoon my daughters come home, Scarlett from school, and Sophie from her Day centre, and I love to spend a few minutes with them and my wife Sarah, over a cup of tea, finding out what exciting things have happened today.

In late afternoon I usually spend an hour calling my team members. We have a quick chat,  see if everyone is ok, if they need any help with anything, check that they are happy that their business is growing as quickly as they’d like.

We have our family meal around 6pm – this is a really important time together, and I love being able to eat with them without feeling stressed after a long commute. It is a relaxed time when we can talk about our day, our plans, and life in general.

Around 7pm I usually have some more calls to make – people that want to talk to me about joining Kleeneze, but who work during the day. Other prospects that I have not yet been able to speak to, I try them in the evening, as it may be more convenient for them to talk then.

Kleeneze Webinar

Once a week I run a training webinar for my team, and other Kleeneze Distributors and their teams. This is just 30 minutes from 8pm, but they seem to go down very well. Short, sharp, and helpful, I hope.

Kleeneze jim RohnBy 9pm I am almost finished for the day. I help Sophie to bed (she likes a story, and I love reading to her). and I finish off with a bit of reading. Personal Development is one of the secret benefits of becoming a Kleeneze Distributor. I have learnt so many skills that help me in all aspects of my life – how to stop procrastinating, how to do things that seem a bit scary at first, how to stop criticising people just because you don’t agree with them, how to be positive, optimistic, and cheerful. All of these things make my days wonderful. and all of these things I learnt by reading for a few minutes each evening.

So if I said to you I work from 6am to 9pm every day, you might think “Poor thing, what long hours!”, but please don’t feel sorry for this Kleeneze Distributor. “If you do something you love, you never have to work a day in your life” – this is just how I feel.

Kleeneze – the UK’s Best Kept Secret

What is the Kleeneze Secret?

Catalogue DeliverersKleeneze has been a well known British Brand since 1923. Ask a sample of people if they have heard of it, and you will get a very high number saying…. “of course… those shopping catalogues that you get through your door”

But there is another side to Kleeneze. A side that most people don’t know. A Kleeneze Secret:

Kleeneze can transform your life.

Let me explain…

The Kleeneze distributors that deliver your Kleeneze Catalogue through your letterbox are not employed by Kleeneze. They are self-employed. They earn commission from all of the sales their customers make. A nice, part time income.

For many distributors this is perfect. They can choose their own hours to fit around another job, or the school run, or any other commitments they might have. The extra money might help to pay the bills, or to treat the kids to a pizza once a week.

… and that is the view that most people have of Kleeneze distributors. Working hard just to earn a little extra.

…But there is more.

Kleeneze is a Network Marketing Business. That means as well as earning commission on your own sales, if you come across someone else who would like to earn some extra money, and you introduce them to Kleeneze, then Kleeneze pay you a bonus every month based on THEIR sales, as well as your own.

… and there is no limit to the number of people you can introduce.

For example, if you introduce four or five people to Kleeneze, and they put their catalogues out regularly, and earn themselves a nice part time income, then you will receive a nice bonus to increase your income. More income, but still putting out the same number of catalogues and spending the same amount of time doing it.

When I first read that I started to get interested in it.

But there’s even more…

If the people that you introduced, see what you have done, and decide that they would like to introduce some people as well, then your bonus is based on THEIR orders aswell. Can you see where this is going?

network-marketing

Some people really get into the team building side, because you can build a huge income, and transform your life.

Here is the official Kleeneze video where some Kleeneze Distributors who did exactly that are interviewed…

My Kleeneze experience

Many people are very sceptical when they first look at Kleeneze, and I felt the same when I first looked at it. But I wanted to give it a go, because I thought “If it’s been around for 90 years, it must be doing something right”

So I started with 250 Catalogues, and just followed the instructions of my sponsor. I delivered them once a week, every week. Was it hard work? Yes. I was surprised. I spent three hours delivering catalogues, just going for a long walk really. When I got home I was shattered! I went to sleep for 3 hours.

But I did it again. and I did it again. and I got orders from people that I’d never met, and didn’t know me. Brilliant.

So after 6 months I had built a nice little customer base, and was earning about £100 a week… Here’s one of my monthly cheques…

Chris smith Kleeneze Cheque

This was great for me.. a little extra, part-time. Just what I was looking for.

But I could see there was so much more. So I asked my sponsor how I could start team building, and I found some people that were looking to earn some extra money, as I had been when I started.

I showed them how to do what I had done, and they just copied me.

My income started to grow as my team got bigger. By 2012 my income had grown from £400 a month to £1300 a month. I had tripled my earnings. How could you get a pay rise like that at work?

Chris Smith Kleeneze cheque

Now I thought this was pretty good. Some people had grown their business quicker than me, some had been slower, but I was happy. Then it got even better.

Every year Kleeneze take 200 Distributors to an international conference. 4 or 5 days of all expenses paid, 5 star luxury. In 2012 it was Miami, and I couldn’t believe it when we got a call from Michael Khathar, Kleeneze’s Director of Network Development, to say we had qualified.

I had been to USA before, on a short holiday with my wife, but when Kleeneze take you away, it is unbelievable. All expenses paid, red carpet treatment. It was like a non-Kleeneze International Conferencestop 5 day party.

and in 2013 they did it again. This time Kleeneze took us to DubaiThe Westion hotel, our Kleeneze accomodation.

I can’t believe how my life has changed since I started Kleeneze. I hope you can get a sense of how Kleeneze can transform your life, if you want it to.

In these days of unemployment and benefit cuts, poor pension plans and extended retirement age, I speak to people all of the time who have a financial problem, but they think that Kleeneze doesn’t work, or that it isn’t worth it. They don’t know the Kleeneze Secret. All I can offer you is my own experiences: If you work, Kleeneze works.

I hope to speak to you soon.

Why Does Kleeneze Work?

Why does Kleeneze Work?

Why Does Kleeneze Work?Have you ever considered working as a Kleeneze Distributor, but you’re not sure if it will work for you?

Let me explain a little about why Kleeneze works, and then you can decide if it would work for you.

If you’re more interested in How, than Why, click here for the details on How Does Kleeneze Work?

Why Does Kleeneze Work?

Kleeneze is a Home Shopping Business, and the most common way to start earning money with Kleeneze is by delivering Kleeneze Catalogues.

As a Kleeneze Distributor, you deliver catalogues to houses in your area. Your customers put them back out on their doorsteps a couple of day later. Some people will order from you, and some people won’t. You then deliver the goods back to the customer a few days later.

Kleeneze is a very simple business. It is simple, but it is easy to think that it will not work for you.

That is because, when you first start off, you have no customers at all. Well maybe your mum or your sister, but not many customers. So you deliver 250 catalogues to 250 houses, and maybe you get 10 or 20 orders.

Now that doesn’t sound like very much. A lot of work for not very many orders. And this is when a lot of people think that Kleeneze doesn’t work. They wanted 250 orders from 250 catalogues!

But wait. You then deliver the goods to your customers. You’re polite, friendly, courteous, prompt, helpful, all of the good Customer Service skills that we teach you. Then your new customers think: “Oh that young man was nice, I’ll order from him again”

So you don’t just have 10-20 orders. You have 10-20 customers. That is important, because satisifed customers will order from you again. And again. And again.

So you put your catalogues out to some new houses, and you get maybe 12 orders this time.

Next time you get only 5 orders. The time after you get 19 orders. and you keep going for a month. Putting your catalogues out to different houses, and getting orders, and growing and growing your customer base.

After a month, you go back to your first houses, and deliver to them all again (except a few that said they did not want a catalogue). You already have 10-20 customers from the first time round, so you maybe get 12 orders from them, but you also get 8 orders from people that didn’t order the first time. That is 8 new customers.

Your customer base is growing.

You continue doing this, building a bigger and bigger customer base, and after a few months, you change the way you are delivering. You stop delivering to all of those people who have never ordered from you, and you just deliver to your regular ciustpomers.

So now, you are delivering, say, 100 catalogues, and you get 30 orders. It takes less time, fewer catalogues, but you get more orders, and earn more money.

Kleeneze works by finding some customers that want to buy from you. (They will always be there), and by looking after them, they will order from you again and again.

This is the point where you get a much bigger return on your efforts, and you can continue to serve your customer base for as long as you want. Years and years and years.

That is why Kleeneze works.

You just need to understand that. Don’t give up in the first month while you are still finding your customers.

The Pros and Cons of Kleeneze: You Decide

The Pros and Cons of Kleeneze

The Pros and Cons of Kleeneze

I have been a Kleeneze distributor since 2008, so about 6 years as I write this, and I love it. But what puzzles me, is that a lot of people look at the Kleeneze opportunity, and they decide it is not for them.

Why would that be? Maybe it is a bit like Marmite – you either love it or hate it.

When I started introducing other people to the Kleeneze opportunity, I felt that all I had to do was get what is in my head, into their head, and they would join.

So here goes, I am going to write down a list of all of the Pros and Cons of Kleeneze, as I have discovered over the last 5 years. Then if you are reading this, and you can see what is in my head, and you’d like to take a closer look at it, you can click here for a Free Kleeneze information pack.

The Pros and Cons of Kleeneze

The Pros

These are the main reasons I joined Kleeneze, and the benefits that I see as a Kleeneze distributor…

You can choose your own hours.

I work hard as a Kleeneze distributor, delivering catalogues, collecting them back from my customers, delivering their orders, recruiting new team members, and supporting them. I work longer hours than I did when I had a job and was working for someone else. But I can choose when I work. I take time off to take my daughter to her Day Centre. I meet my wife for a coffee or lunch in town, I take my daughter for her music lessons. I take a couple of days off to do some walking in the Yorkshire Dales. I can do all of these things whenever I want. That freedom is important to me.

You don’t have a boss telling you what to do.

angry-bossI work hard because I want to work hard, to build a good income and a quality future for my family. I can choose what parts of my business to work on. Sometimes I feel like putting lots of leaflets out around an area in which I want to recruit a new team member. Sometimes I want to find some new customers in my area, so I put some extra  catalogues out in that area. I do these things because I want to, not because some Boss tells me what to do. That freedom to choose is a fabulous way to build an income.

You can have as much overtime as you want.

This was a big benefit for me. If we were coming up to Christmas, or I wanted to save for a special holiday, I can simply put some more catalogues out, or do some more recruiting. I don’t have to ask the boss for some overtime. I can have as much overtime as I want, as often as I want it. That means no more money worries for me.

You can have a pay rise whenever you want.

Kleeneze Pay RiseThis is related to the last point. In my old job, I pretty much had to wait for the company to decide when they were going to give pay rises. And if the business was not going well, the pay rises were not great, or often there was no pay rise at all. With Kleeneze, my pay rises are based on my efforts. I can have a pay rise whenever I want, by putting out more catalogues, finding more customers, or recruiting more team members and supporting and coaching them.

There is as much support and training as you want.

training-and-support-meetingsKleeneze, and many of the successful and experienced Kleeneze distributors, offer you as much training and support as you want. Weekly Webinars; Personal coaching (see the next point); Monthly team meetings; Regional training conferences; National Showcases; daily training hints and tips. If you want to learn more about how to be a successful distributor, you won’t have far to go.

You get a personal coach and mentor.

Kleeneze is a Network Marketing Business. What does that mean? Basically, the person who introduces you to Kleeneze is your upline. They will get paid bonuses by Kleeneze if you are successful. That means that they have a huge desire for you to be successful. The more successful you are, the bigger their bonuses are. So they want to be the best coach and mentor to you as they can possibly be. In my old job, my boss always seemed to be a bit nervous if I did too well, in case I got promoted above him. In Kleeneze, your sponsor wants you to be as successful as possible. In fact they don’t get paid any bonuses unless you ARE successful.

You can qualify for all-expenses paid international 5-star conferences.

Kleeneze International ConferenceI didn’t join Kleeneze because of these conferences, but now that I have been to Miami in 2012 (See here) and we’ve also qualified for Dubai in 2013, I can tell you that they are unbelievable. You are treated like royalty, staying in 5-star luxury, with everything organised for you, and everything paid for. After going to Miami, I suddenly realised how fantastic these conferences are, and I wanted to make sure I qualified for the next one, and the next one, and the next one. All Kleeneze Distributors can qualify for these conferences.

You can qualify for a free car. (BMW mini. BMW 3-series, BMW 5-series and more…)

Kleeneze BMW miniAs you progress in your Kleeneze business, you can qualify for cars. These are not company cars. They are yours. To keep, or to sell, or to give away., or do whatever you want with. So if cars are your thing, and you’d like a brand new BMW mini, or BMW 3-series etc, then this is for you.

You can build a residual income.

…and finally, the one benefit above all of the other benefits that, for me,  puts Kleeneze head and shoulders above a job. Residual income. What is Residual Income? Briefly, it is money that you get paid, month in, month out, after the work you did to generate it has long been finished.

Authors get it for writing a best-selling book. Musicians get it for writing a number one hit, and Kleeneze Distributors get it for building a team of successful Kleeneze Distributors.

kleeneze team buildingI am looking forward to the day when I can effectively retire, where I have a team of successful distributors, each growing their own team, growing their own businesses, and growing mine too. That residual income is the money you get paid, before you have even got out of bed in the morning.

I like the sound of that.

The Cons

So if I only showed you the Pros, it would be a pretty lop-sided discussion, and you would be right in thinking it sounds too good to be true. So what about the down-side of Kleeneze?

You have to be prepared to work hard.

work ethicKleeneze is not a Get Rich Quick Scheme. It is a work-hard for great rewards scheme. The best way to build a core base of customers who order from you regularly when you deliver your catalogues to them, is to deliver as many catalogues as you can. Then, as you find customers, you look after them well. If you do that, they will stay loyal to you.

When you start team building, you will find that the harder you work, the more your team will want to replicate what you do, so the more successful you and your Kleeneze team will be.

Sometimes it rains.

Most of your retail income will come from your catalogues, delivered by hand through the letterboxes of your loyal customers. That means delivering catalogues to your customers, and collecting them back a couple of days later. We live in the United Kingdom. Occasionally it rains. So occasionally you get wet. My philosophy on that is simplke. There is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes.

There is competition out there.

As a Kleeneze Distributor, you can deliver your catalogues wherever you want, within the United Kingdom and Ireland. There are no boundaries to limit where you can deliver. This means that another Kleeneze Distributor can deliver catalogues to an area that you want to deliver to. Is that a problem? That’s up to you. It is a bit like having several Coffee Shops on the High Street. If you deliver your catalogues regularly, if you deliver your customer’s goods promptly, if you are friendly and helpful, your customers will come back to you again and again. There is competition out there. You can worry about it, or you can make sure that the competition is worried about you.

Some people won’t buy from your catalogues.

Kleeneze has been a well-known British Brand since 1923, and it has a catalogue full of useful products, hard to find products, and products unique to Kleeneze. However, despite that, some people will not order from you. Some people never buy from catalogues, they might not like your name. Who knows why.

However, some people will buy from you, and your job is to deliver as many catalogues as you can, so that you find as many of those customers as you want.

Some people won’t want to join your team.

If you decide to start building your Kleeneze team, you will find that not everyone you speak to will want to join. Maybe the time is not right for them. Maybe they are happy with their job at the moment. Maybe they do not want this kind of business. You soon learn that when you first speak to someone, you are often just sowing seeds. Showing them that there is an opportunity available to them if, and when, they want it. They may not join you now, but you never know when their circumstances will change, and they ask you – “Are you still doing that Kleeneze thing?”

Some people will join your Kleeneze team and leave.

If you start talking to people about Kleeneze, there will be some people who can see the opportunity in the same way that you see it, and will join you. However, over the next few days and weeks or month, they realise that Kleeneze is not right for them. Maybe they are not willing to work hard, or maybe something happens in their life which puts them off. They decide that it is not right for them, and they leave. It will happen, and all that you can do is make sure that you support and coach your team to the best of your ability. Some will stay and become successful with you, but some will leave.

Summary

Kleeneze is a wonderful opportunity for you to build a high quality life for you and your family. Before you start, you need to make sure you understand the Pros and Cons of Kleeneze. Then you can make an educated decision, knowing what to expect.

Not everyone who joins Kleeneze is successful, but if you know what is possible, you can do everything in your power to make sure you are one of the successful ones.

Why would you pay to get a job?

Why would you pay to get a job?

How much is a Kleeneze startup kit?I get a lot of responses to my adverts for Kleeneze Catalogue Distributors and Team Leaders.

Clearly there is an interest in earning extra money. A second income, working flexible hours around your other commitments is a great attraction. Being able to build a residual income for the future is also tempting.

When I receive an enquiry for more info, I send them the Kleeneze information pack. They look through the information and watch the videos. They can see immediately if it is the sort of thing that they’re interested in. Some people say “No, that’s not for me”. Some people say “That looks interesting. I could do that“.

Then they read the part about Getting Started, and find out that there is a cost involved. To become a Kleeneze Distributor costs money. £25 to be precise.

Suddenly their interest disappears.

I can imagine their thoughts at that point. (This was my initial reaction when I first looked at Kleeneze)… “Hold on a minute – I am looking for work because I need to earn money, I don’t want to have to pay out before I even get started.

I know how they feel. Paying money out on a new venture seems risky.

You can start your own Kleeneze Business for £25.

how much does it cost to join Kleeneze? What else could you do with £25?
– buy a pizza for you and the kids (no extra toppings!)
– half a tank of petrol in the car
– go to the cinema with a friend, but easy on the popcorn.

These are all great things to spend £25 on, but what do you have to show for it a couple of days later? Not a lot.

– you’d be hungry again
– your car would need filling up again.
– you’re bored and want to go an see another film.

Another way of looking at it is like this…

  • If I was applying for a new job I could easily spend £25 on a new shirt and tie for the interview.
  • If I was starting a business as a plumber I would spend a lot more than that on my tools before I could start.

Spend £25 on your own Kleeneze Business. You get catalogues; all of the stationery you need; an online shop; a coach and mentor to help you grow your business; a team building website; training; Everything you need to start earning money immediately.

  • Put those catalogues out once a week, (about 10-15 hours work) and you can soon be earning a nice part time income.
  • Continue to build a customer base of loyal customers who look forward to seeing you each month, and order from you regularly, and you’re income is growing.
  • A few of your friends wonder where all your extra money is coming from. You show them and they want to do the same, so they join your team. Soon your earning even more.

So was that £25 worth it?

Remember that pizza you bought? You now have enough for a weekend in Rome to have a proper pizza.

That tank of petrol? You could fill it up on your way to treat the kids to a weekend at DisneyLand Paris.

That trip to the Cinema? How about your own Home Cinema system with Surround Sound and large screen Plasma TV?

Now I know I’ve simplified this, and you will need to work hard on your Kleeneze business, and you will have good days and bad days, but the point I am trying to make is… Don’t let the £25 start up fee put you off. If you thought the opportunity looked interesting before you realised there was a cost, then it is still an interesting opportunity. You just need to put that pizza off for a couple of weeks.

I’m not saying Kleeneze is easy. I’m saying it is worth it.

Pay Day Loans – There is an alternative

Pay Day Loans? There is a way out.

I read this article on the BBC Website recently – explaining how Pay Day Loans are to be regulated. Some of them have interest rates over 1000% per annum!

What is a pay day loan?

Typically, it is a loan to someone who needs a short-term loan of a fairly small amount (£100 – £500) for just a few days – until they get paid. Hence the name.

However, the problem is the amount of interest you have to pay – borrowing just a small amount can still leave you with big chunks of interest – so in the end you are worse off. …and if you cannot pay off what you owe in full, the interest goes through the roof, and you get into a vicious circle – you run out of money even quicker next month, have to take out a loan for more money over a longer period, and it gets worse and worse.

Is there an alternative?

So if you already have a job, and you just need a little extra to keep you going to pay day, what are the alternatives?

Well how about starting a flexible work from home business that fits around your existing hours?

Kleeneze - an alternative to Pay Day Loans

Kleeneze does just that:

Kleeneze is a Home Shopping business that has been helping people earn an extra income since 1923. You can start earning money with Kleeneze immediately.

You can do Kleeneze part time.

You can also do Kleeneze full time if you want.

This is how Kleeneze works.

How Much Can You Earn Doing Kleeneze Part-Time?

How Much Can You Earn Doing Kleeneze Part-Time?

There was a recent article on the BBC Website stating that 1 in 10 workers in the UK are Underemployed.

3 million UK workers would like to work more hours, but their employers cannot, or will not, give them more work.

Are you one of these?

If you would like extra hours, but you can’t get them at your current place of work, what are your options?

  • Finding a completely new job with the hours you want can be stressful and difficult.
  • Finding a part time job that fits with your current hours can be almost impossible
  • So here is an option…

Have you considered starting a flexible part time business to earn extra money in those hours?

How Much Can You Earn Doing Kleeneze Part-Time?

I have been working with Kleeneze since 2008, and it is perfect for that situation:

  • You are your own boss.
  • You choose your own hours.
  • You can have as much or as little overtime as you want.
  • You work from home.

You need to commit 10-15 hours a week, and you can earn a nice part time income. Here are some examples.

You can build this up if you have  more time by delivering to more Kleeneze customers, or by becoming a Team Leader, but if you are just looking for a few extra hours around your other commitments, then look no further.

You receive full training and support on either of these options. So to find out more…

Hate Selling? Then Kleeneze is Perfect for you…

Looking for work, but you hate Selling?

Perfect!

“Excuse me madame, can I interest you in….”

“Have you seen our latest…”

“Can I explain the benefits of our …..”

If you’re like me, then having to sell something to a customer using phrases like this brings a chill to your bones. I Hate Selling. If they want to buy something, they’ll come and ask! That’s my view.

Which is one of the reasons that Kleeneze appealed to me.

There is no selling. So it is perfect for you if you hate selling.

Kleeneze is a very simple business, with a number of different aspects –

  • you can do Party Plan, if you’re a bubbly party person,
  •  and you can do Team building, which is great for building up a big residual income,
  • but the core business consists of delivering catalogues.

Hate Selling? Then take a look at Kleeneze

The best training you could undertake is simply to follow a postman….

You drop a catalogue through every letterbox in the street, and you go back to collect them a couple of days later. Some people will order from you, some people won’t.

You deliver the goods to the customer a couple of days later, and you earn commission on all of your orders.

As you get the catalogues back each time, you can put them out again 2 or 3 times a week – it is up to you.

This flexibility is one of the main reasons I joined. If I need extra money, I can simply deliver more catalogues and find more customers.

Kleeneze operates across the UK and Ireland.

So if you’re looking for a flexible way to earn some extra money, and you hate selling, then take a look at the FREE Kleeneze Information Pack.

Or take a look at Kleeneze – How it works.

Network Marketing – What is it?

Network Marketing is a great way to start your own little business, without the overheads normally associated with a start-up. There are no premises needed, no stock, and no staff. You work from your own home.

Kleeneze - A Network Marketing Business

Network Marketing with Kleeneze

You can earn a little extra money in your spare time, or earn a lot of money by putting more time and effort into it. It is up to you. There is no boss telling you what to do, and you have the freedom to fit it around your other commitments – like your full-time job, or the school run etc.

How does Network Marketing work?

There are usually two sides to a network marketing business:

  • Retail
  • Team Building

The retail side consists of sharing and recommending products to people that you know. You do not need a shop, or a market stall. You just order products from your supplier, as you need them, and supply them to your customers. You make commission on your sales.

With some businesses, this commission is small, and you don’t make a lot of money from the retail side. With other businesses, you can retail lots of product, and make a lot of commission from that side of the business.

By far the biggest incomes in Network Marketing come from the Team Building side.

The team building side consists of introducing other people to the business who also want to earn some extra money. They can retail the same as you, and they can team build the same as you.

YOU earn extra commissions on THEIR sales, as well as your own.

Imagine if you introduced five serious people to your business.

Then what if, in a few months, they each introduced five serious people,

Then after a few months, those people introduced five serious people,

Then they introduced five each,

Then they introduced five more each.

By then, you would have almost 4000 people in your team. This is the NETWORK in Network Marketing.

…and you earn commission on sales from all of those people.

As you can imagine, you can earn a LOT of money if you build a big team.

Clear?

Here is a short video that explains it a bit better… ( I hope!)

I hope that all makes sense. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

Kleeneze Catalogues – how do they work?

Thanks to Kleeneze’s Tim Pace for this analogy that perfectly describes the catalogue side of the Kleeneze business

Kleeneze Catalogues - your tools of the trade

Kleeneze Catalogues – your tools of the trade

If you are self-employed as a tradesman and you go on holiday you are not usually paid.

Imagine how amazing it would be if you could drop off the tools at a few jobs and they magically came alive to do the job for you.

Then all you need do when you return is drive around, pick up the tools, and collect the money!

Kleeneze Catalogues

That is the way Kleeneze catalogues work. You drop them off to houses in your area; Then you go on holiday, then collect them with orders on your return… magical.

Now you can take short holidays – just a day or two – while your catalogues are out. This is best when you are just starting out – as your customers may forget about them if you’re away for too long.

Once you have a good base of regular customers that you deliver your Kleeneze Catalogues too each month, then you can do “long drops”, where you can go away for a week or more, and when you come back, your catalogues will be waiting for you to collect on the day you requested, with lots of orders – I do this a couple of times a year when I go away, and it works every time!

The Kleeneze Catalogues are your tools of the trade. If you look after them, they will serve you well, like a plumber’s wrench or a carpenter’s saw.

Kleeneze Residual Income for beginners…

I recently saw a post on Facebook by Tim Pace, and I thought it was a great explanation of how the Kleeneze Residual Income works…

Kleeneze residual income

Imagine getting paid everytime the loo is flushed!

Kleeneze Residual income is a wonderful thing:

Imagine if you were a plumber. You get paid a fee for fitting a toilet, lets say £150. That’s the end of it.

How about if you fitted the toilet for free? Crazy ?

But what if you got paid £1 every time it got flushed. For life. And you then went crazy for 5 years fitting toilets. You would over a period of time build up a huge income. Then you could retire on the income and never work again.

This is how Kleeneze Residual income works. However we don’t fit toilets. We help people make money, we get paid a small percentage by Kleeneze based on how many we help.

This Kleeneze system is very simple:

  • Retail
  • Sponsor
  • Teach

As a Kleeneze Distributor you retail products yourself by delivering catalogues to houses in your area.

We can also Sponsor, or introduce other people to Kleeneze.

We then teach, support and coach them so that they can start to earn money from their own retailing. They too can then sponsor new distributors, and teach their new distributors how to do the same.

If you help enough people,  you earn a great, residual, income. We love helping people earn money. And the more we help the more we make.

The Top 5 Reasons People Fail with Kleeneze

Kleeneze is a simple business – but many people fail.

Why is that?

Kleeneze Logo

Here are the Top 5 Reasons.

  • Poor support
  • Misunderstanding
  • Unwilling to learn
  • Unwilling to invest
  • Unwilling to work

Introduction

Kleeneze is a very simple home-shopping business. It is a well-known brand, and has been running successfully since 1923.

How does it work?

  • You deliver catalogues to houses near where you live.
  • You collect them a couple of days later.
  • You deliver the orders to the customer.
  • You show other people how to do the same.

At a time when the UK has huge unemployment, there is a recession, and many companies are laying even more staff off, you would think such a simple business would attract lots of people who would then go on to make a good living, and for those willing to work hard and persevere, they can earn a fortune.

Many people do, and become successful Kleeneze Distributors, but even more don’t. They fail before they even get started.

Why is that?

Here are the top 5 reasons, and further explanations behind each one…

Poor Support

Kleeneze is a Network Marketing business. This means that each new Kleeneze distributor is sponsored by an existing Kleeneze distributor. That distributor is their sponsor.

The sponsor provides

  • support,
  • education,
  • knowledge,
  • experience,
  • motivation

In short, everything the new distributor needs to build his new Kleeneze business.

A Great Sponsor is a Leader, an Inspiration, a Teacher, a Coach, and a friend.

A Poor Sponsor doesn’t care, isn’t there, and leads to the new Kleeneze distributor feeling confused and unwanted. As soon as they hit the first obstacle they quit.

Click here to find out more about our support and training

Misunderstanding

The hardest work for a new Kleeneze Distributor is at the beginning. You start off with a bunch of catalogues, and no customers. So you have to find some good, reliable customers.

You do that by delivering your catalogues around your area. Some people will order from you. Many won’t. You continue delivering to new houses. Then after a month, you go back to delivering to the houses you started from. You deliver a catalogue to each house, once per month.

By doing this, you are showing your new customers that you are reliable, efficient, and that you are here to stay. Some customers will order from you the first time you deliver a catalogue to them, some the second, some not until the fourth or fifth time. For many different reasons – they are busy, don’t have the money, were on holiday, who knows?

But after 6 months, you have given every house 6 opportunities to buy from you. You now stop delivering to all the people that never bought from you, and just deliver to your regular customers.

So in your first month, you are working harder than what you get paid for.

By the sixth month you are a lot more efficient, getting many more orders, and earning much more money.

You can continue delivering to new houses, finding more and more customers, for as long as you want – all the time building a base of loyal customers that will order from you again and again.

BUT – many new Kleeneze Distributors don’t understand this. They work for a month, and think it is going to be like that forever. So they quit.

This misunderstanding could be due to a poor sponsor. Or it could be that the new Kleeneze distributor is unwilling to learn…

Unwilling to Learn

Because Kleeneze is simple, many distributors think that once they learn how to put a catalogue through a letterbox (Learning time 5 seconds), How to place their first order (Learning time 5 minutes), then they have finished their Kleeneze education.

However, by far the biggest benefit of education is learning about yourself:

  • How you deal with problems
  • How you motivate yourself
  • Goal-Setting
  • Dealing with procrastination
  • Dealing with rejection

Personal Development can lead to HUGE growth in your business, and in your own self-confidence and personal skills, but most new distributors don’t see the reason for doing this, so they don’t.

With Kleeneze you can attend local meetings, workshops, regional seminars, National Showcases – ALL aimed at providing you with a high quality, specific education.

Again – a good sponsor will explain the benefits of this, but if the distributor is not interested, then they will remain uneducated, and will often quit at the first hurdle.

Here are some examples of our training seminars and conferences.

Unwilling to Invest

Kleeneze is not a job, it is a business.

Distributors are not employees, they are self-employed entrepreneurs.

A successful Kleeneze distributor will invest some of his profits back into his business:

  • Buying more catalogues if they want to expand their business
  • Buying business cards to give to prospects
  • Buy self-development books and cds for their own education

However, many new Kleeneze distributors join and see it as a job, and don’t understand why they have to pay for things which are part of the job.

If you want the benefits of being self-employed (flexible hours, no boss, no targets) then you must also be willing to pay some of the costs.

Some Kleeneze distributors are unwilling to invest any of their profits, they simply pay themselves 100% of the profits as their own income. As a result, their business fails to grow, and they quit.

Can you imagine a taxi-driver not investing in petrol, or regular servicing for his cab?

Can you imagine a plumber not investing in good quality tools?

Unwilling to Work

And finally, unfortunately, inevitably, some people are unwilling to work. They become a Kleeenze Distributor, and they want the benefits of having the money and the lifestyle that can provide, but they are unwilling to put in the effort that will deliver it. As a result they earn very little money, and they quit.

So what?

So if you have read these 5 reasons why people fail at Kleeneze, and you know that you would not make these mistakes, then I would love to hear from you.

You have the potential to be the next Kleeneze Millionaire.

How much can you earn doing Kleeneze FULL-TIME?

Need a full-time income?

Have you considered becoming a Kleeneze distributor?

Kleeneze income full time or part-time

Most people join Kleeneze just to earn a little extra.

They do it alongside their existing commitments – maybe a job, looking after their children, or caring for an elderly relative.

Being a Kleeneze Distributor is perfect for these situations. You are self-employed, so you can work it in the hours you have available. Evenings and weekends, mornings while your kids are at school, evenings after your 9-5 job, whatever works for you.

However – what if you’re unemployed, or you’ve just been made redundant and need a serious income as soon as possible?

Can Kleeneze help you? Of Course!

Watch this two-minute training video from Paul Tonkin. He earns £4000 a month just delivering Kleeneze catalogues…

Now to be clear – Paul works hard, and it took him many months of hard work to build up this income. Do not think you will be able to do the same immediately. However, you can certainly build up a good full time income if you work hard at it. You can see how it works in the Kleeneze Business Model – How Does Kleeneze Work?

Is Kleeneze easy?

NO – if you want to earn Full-time money, you have to work FULL-TIME.

Is Kleeneze simple?

YES – If you can follow a postman, you can do Kleeneze.

Is Kleeneze worth it?

Decide for yourself – Read John Hawkes’ story.

You can start building a full time income immediately, and replace the income from your job,  just delivering Kleeneze catalogues, and building a rapport with your customers.

Then (and you don’t have to wait), you can move into the team building part of the business if you want to.

There are two reasons you might want to do this…

  • You can earn a lot more money
  • It is residual income. By that I mean you get paid for a long time after you have done the work. It is not dependent on you delivering your catalogues.

You can see more info about this here: “How Does Kleeneze Work?

So if you have been made redundant, or for any reason, you need to earn good money immediately, I would recommend you take this route…

  • Start off with the Kleeneze Business Builder 250 kit.
  • Deliver your catalogues twice a week to build up a good customer base and start earning money from day 1.
  • Start team building at the same time. This will increase your earnings from your own retail, increase your bonuses from your team’s retail, and start building a residual income at the same time.

What about Part-Time?

Working Kleeneze Full-Time is fair enough, but can you do it Part-Time?

Of Course: How Much Can You Earn Doing Kleeneze Part-Time?

Is Kleeneze Worth It?

Is Kleeneze Worth it?

When John Hawkes, Kleeneze Millionaire, was asked “Did you ever think of quitting?” He replied “Every Bloody Day!”

I remember John telling this story at a Kleeneze training day, and I was reminded of it recently when I read this quote…

I am not telling you it’s going to be easy, I’m telling you it’s going to be worth it.”

This is John with my wife, Sarah…

Is Kleeneze Worth it? Ask John Hawkes, Kleeneze millionaire.

Is Kleeneze Worth it?

John was giving some training a few years ago, and told us his story. I recall it here as best I can…

He had joined Kleeneze when he was 58. He was having some financial difficulties after mortgage rates shot through the roof!

He started Kleeneze with his wife, Jeanette, and set a target of earning £1000 a month.

You can build a nice full time income by doing Kleeneze Full-Time,

or build it up more gradually by doing Kleeneze Part-Time.

It was hard work, but they achieved their target, which helped them survive their cash crisis. They continued to grow their business, but after a while, they hit a plateau – one month the business would grow, and the next it would drop, and so on, and on. Putting in a lot of work, and not seeing much reward, but keeping their head above water.

Somebody asked him – “Did you ever feel like quitting?” and his answer was “Every Bloody Day!”

But he persevered, and then suddenly, his business exploded, some new dynamic team members joined, and his business grew from strength to strength.

Kleeneze income full time or part-timeJohn and Jeanette earned over £1 million in their first seven years in the business. I think he is pleased he did not quit.

This was the impact of the Kleeneze Residual Income.

Is Kleeneze Worth it?

So… Is Kleeneze easy? – No. It is simple, but not easy.

You need to work hard. There will be good days and bad days, and there will be days you want to quit. But as I said at the beginning – I am not telling you it’s going to be easy, I am telling you it is going to be worth it!

Turn your Fear into Desire with Kleeneze

Turn your Fear into Desire with Kleeneze

I recently posted about the Top 5 Reasons People Join Kleeneze, and explained how each of the reasons had one of two root causes:

Use Kleeneze to fix your financial stress

  • A Fear of something
  • A Desire for something

Use Kleeneze to get your heart's desire

I then explained why those people that joined with a desire for something often succeeded, and those that had a fear of something often failed.

So if you join Kleeneze because you have a fear of something – not being able to pay your bills, a fear of having a poor future, or whatever – how can you change that fear into a desire, and increase your chances of success?

You do it by Goal Setting.

If your fear is that you won’t be able to pay a £100 bill at the end of the month, set a goal to earn £100 before then.

If your fear is that you won’t be able to retire in 5 years, because you need to replace a £1000 a month job, set a goal to build a £1000 a month business within 5 years.

Goal Setting

Use Goal setting to achieve your targets with Kleeneze

In my personal blog – chris-smith.me – I wrote in detail about Goal Setting, but basically you break a goal down into small chunks. Let me explain…

Let’s take one of the examples above.

Earn £100 by the end of the month

With Kleeneze, if you deliver and collect 200 catalogues a week for four weeks, you could earn £168 in retail profit, plus a £50 volume profit bonus – making £218. Easily enough to cover that bill, and you can treat yourself to a little reward on top.

So break that 200 catalogues down to four steps – deliver 100 on a Friday, collect them on a Monday, deliver 100 on Tuesday, Collect them on Thursday.

Repeat that each week.

So every day you have a small, easily achievable target. At the end of the day you can say “My goal for today was to deliver 100 catalogues, and I did it”. That satisfaction of completing a task is a great feeling.

At the end of the month, you may be a little under or a little over your target, but you should certainly have enough to pay off that bill.

So you have achieved your goal, and the next month you can set yourself a bigger goal. Maybe to pay off that bill, AND buy a new bike for your son. Maybe that will cost you more, but now you know you have a system that works, you can set yourself a harder challenge.

and so on each month.

Maybe some months you fail to hit your target – instead of earning £500, you only made £450. Hey, that’s not bad. When you started you were happy with £100.

So you can see that you get motivated by setting goals and achieving them, and so you keep going and become successful, even though it was initially fear that got you started.

If you have a fear of something, or a desire for something, and would like some information about how kleeneze might be able to help you, request a FREE Kleeneze information Pack.

Why do people join Kleeneze? The Top 5 Reasons

Why do People Join Kleeneze?

Here are The Top 5 Reasons people join Kleeneze

why do people join Kleeneze

Why do people join Kleeneze?

Why do people join kleeneze?

Why do people join Kleeneze?

There are many different reasons why people join Kleeneze, and you’ll read them here, but first you need to understand why this is SO important…

Each reason can be categorised into one of two groups…

  • A desire for something, or
  • A fear of something.

… and the success of a new Kleeneze distributor is closely linked to whether they are worried about something, or whether they are striving to achieve something desireable. Again, I will explain this in a moment.

Why do people join Kleeneze? I’ll go through the top 5 reasons in this video…

…and you can read about it here…

Why do people join Kleeneze: The top 5 reasons

  1. Difficulty paying Bills
  2. Just been made redundant
  3. Worried about financial future/pension
  4. Want to treat the kids
  5. Saving for a car/holiday

If you break each one down, they are all really a desire for extra money, but let me go through each one in a bit more detail so I can explain the difference.

Difficulty Paying Bills

why do people join Kleeneze

Why do people join Kleeneze?

Not surprisingly, this is the biggest reason why people join Kleeneze.

It is so easy to get behind with your bills – credit card bills, electricity bills, rent, mortgage and so on.

You start off ok, you’re in a job, you’re on top of things, but then you’re partner has a baby, your hours get cut at work, and you just don’t seem to have as much money as you used to have.

The arrears mount up, you start getting pestering phone calls from debt collection agencies, you are stressed out and worried, so you look for a way to earn some extra money.

Usually just a little extra each week would make a big difference at this stage.

Just Been Made Redundant

Why do people join Kleeneze?

Just been made redundant?

This is a scary one, but a really common reason why people join Kleeneze: You have a good job, been working with the company for years. You have a nice house, a good car, and a young family all enjoying life.

Then the company starts to cut back, you lose your job, and in your forties or fifties, it seems hard to find another job.

You need to find something quickly that pays well, otherwise the Mortgage, HP and other bills will mount up quickly.

You need something where you can earn a full time income… How much can you earn with Kleeneze?

Worried about Financial Future / Pension

Another reason why people join Kleeneze relates to their future.

As you move on in life, your kids have grown up and left home, you have had a good career, you were paid well, but you’ll be retiring in 5-10 years, and your pension pot is not what it should be. At this rate you’ll have loads of time on your hands, but have no money to enjoy it.

You need something that will provide a little extra now, but build up to a nice pension in 5-10 years.

Want to treat the kids

Kids are a great reason why people join Kleeneze.

You’re coping ok with all the bills, but at the end of every month you have no money left at all.

It would be nice just to be able to treat the kids to a pizza, or a trip to the cinema at the weekend.

A little extra each week would be great, but it needs to be part time, and fit around the school run.

Saving for a car or holiday

You and your partner both have good jobs, but that big house you live in has high rent or mortgage costs.

You want to take on a second job that you can do together, that will allow you to save up for that fortnight in Spain you’d love each year.

An extra 10-15 flexible hours a week would do the job nicely.

Fear or desire?

So does it make any difference why you join Kleeneze? Whether you join Kleeneze to try and avoid a fearful situation, or to try and achieve a desirable outcome?

Well it seems that it does.

Here’s why:

Running your own Kleeneze business is a bit of a rollercoaster. There are good days and bad days. Days when you get a lot of orders, and days when you don’t get many orders. days when you get a really enthusiastic team member join, and days when your best team member quits.

To see you along that roller coaster ride, you need a strong motivation.

If the reason you start Kleeneze is because you have a fear of something, you have a strong Motivation: You know you have a big bill coming at the end of the month, so you work hard, you put your catalogues out every week, come rain or shine, and you earn yourself a little extra.

Great! That bill is paid off.

But then maybe you don’t have another bill due for a couple of weeks, so you decide not to go out on the next rainy day.

So you don’t earn anything the next week. Then you don’t really feel like going out the next day. and then you get out of the habit, so when the next bill comes, and you don’t have the money, you think, “Kleeneze doesn’t work, I didn’t earn enough for this bill, I’m going to quit”.

As your fear reduced (you paid off that urgent bill) your motivation reduced. This is why a lot of people who join Kleeneze to resolve a Fear, leave the business before they became successful.

But what if you have a desire for something positive?

You are saving up for that holiday, so you put your catalogues out each week, and you put your earnings away in a savings account. Each month your savings increase and you get closer and closer to your goal, and by the summer you have enough for a fantastic holiday. Your first Kleeneze Success Story!

You go away, have a great time, and come back batteries recharged, and set yourself a bigger goal “Next year we’ll go to Bermuda” – and you know you can do it because you’ve already done it.

So the person who joins with a desire for something, often succeeds, when the  person who joins over fear of something, often fails.

So can you fix this?

Yes, You can.

In my next post I will explain how you change that Fear into a Desire with Kleeneze.

Bye for Now.

 How Do You Join Kleeneze?

Joining Kleeneze is very straightforward, and I’ll explain what you do in a moment, but first, there is one very important decision that you can easily forget, if you don’t understand how Kleeneze works. Most new starters don’t, so take a moment to look through this first.

That decision is “Which Kleeneze team should you join?” I’ll explain why in this short video…

I hope that made sense, but if you prefer to read it yourself, and to help you decide which team to join, let me explain a little about the structure of Kleeneze teams.

Kleeneze Head Office

Kleeneze Head Office

Kleeneze has a Head Office, in Accrington, Lancashire, where the employed staff are based, (pictured here), and the distribution warehouse.

However, ALL Kleeneze distributors are independent. They are not employed, they are self-employed. That includes me, it includes anyone who has delivered a catalogue to you, and it will include YOU if you decide to join.

So we are all independent, and we are grouped into teams.

Getting Started with Kleeneze

The team you are in, is the team of the person who SPONSORS you into the business.

Now this is important, because not all teams are equal. Some teams organise fantastic training, trips to local meetings, regular team meetings to welcome you to the team and so on, all aimed to give you as much support as you want to run your business. However some teams don’t offer as much support.

To give you an idea of our team’s support – here is our Kleeneze team information website.

So if you are thinking of joining Kleeneze, and you have received some information from a distributor, then ask them about what they offer in terms of support.

If you are happy with their answer, and you feel you have a good rapport with your sponsor, then that sounds like a good basis to go ahead.

If you are not happy, and you feel you might get better support elsewhere, then you are free to look for a different sponsor, and ask to join their team. However, you must do this BEFORE you sign up.

If you join Kleeneze, and after a couple of weeks you think that the support you are getting is not what you want, then it is very difficult to transfer to a different team at that point.

So – if you have found a sponsor, spoken with them, and feel that you get on well with them, and you like the sound of the level of support they will give you, then go ahead. Simply tell them you would like to join.

How do you join Kleeneze?

How do you join Kleeneze?

How do you join Kleeneze?

Once you have decided to join Kleeneze, the sign up process is very simple. It takes about 10 minutes. Your sponsor will send you an email with a link to the registration site, and you follow the steps online.

I always go through this with my new team members face to face, or over the phone, as there are some steps that can be tricky if you’re not familiar with them.

Once you have completed the registration, your catalogues will arrive around 2 working days later, and you’re off and running and ready to earn money!

Can you earn money with Kleeneze?

Can you earn money with Kleeneze? Can you REALLY earn money with Kleeneze?

Kleeneze: Frequently Asked Questions

Kleeneze: Frequently Asked Questions

I’m going to be up front with you here. I have been working my Kleeneze business since 2008, and it is harder than I thought. Here’s my story.

But do I regret starting?

No! I just wish I had started 10 years ago. You’ll see why, a bit further down.

So can you earn money with Kleeneze?

Of course! I’ll show you…

Now, if you’d like to see the details of how Kleeneze works…Click Here How does Kleeneze Work?

Kleeneze is a very simple business, so anybody can do it, but it is not easy. If you are looking for a way to sit at home watching TV, and get paid for doing it, then Kleeneze is not for you.

However – if you are looking for a business that will reward you for hard work – then this is exactly the right business for you!

There are 2 sides to the business…

  1. The retail side – you deliver and collect catalogues to houses where you live, or sell our products on Facebook and other Social media.
  2. The team building side – you show other people how to deliver and collect catalogues where they live.

Look at “How does Kleeneze Work?” to see the details.

So how can you earn money with Kleeneze? Well, you can do just the retail side.

If you want to earn a little extra, part time, you can do that simply by delivering and collecting catalogues around your area. This is fine, anybody can do that if you (or a partner) are reasonably active.

Are there any problems with that? Well, it does rain – so you will need a coat. Also, you will meet your customers, so a friendly attitude is helpful.

Basically, if you are a hard-worker, with a friendly, positive approach on life – you can do this no problem at all.

What about the team building side? Can you just do that?

I have had people ask if they can join without doing the catalogues. It is possible, but to be honest I discourage anyone who wants to do that – because if you are trying to coach and support your team to do something that you have never done, then you will find it difficult to answer their questions.

So – most people start off with the retail side, and then start team-building. And this is where the fun really begins.

For a start – you earn bonuses based on your own sales, plus the sales of anyone that you introduce to the business (your team members). Plus the sales of anyone that they introduce, plus the sales of anyone that they introduce… and so on.

So you can earn a LOT more by building a team. Especially if you recruit team members who then want to build teams. You then earn a residual income that is growing by itself. Can you see why I wish I had got into this 10 years ago?

This is what your Kleeneze income could look like if you are serious about Team Building…

kleeneze income curve

So if you were to ask me “Chris, when would be a good time to start with Kleeneze?” I would say NOW!

The sooner you start building your residual income – then sooner it hits the knee of the curve and starts climbing like mad.

I am happy to show you what I earn from Kleeneze, and my team members… Have a look at My Story and my team’s Success Stories.

Work From Home Ideas – Which one is right for YOU?

Work From Home Ideas – Which one is right for YOU?

When you first start looking for a Work From Home Idea or business, you will probably take one of two approaches…

  1. Do a thorough research of the Work From Home Ideas available before deciding on one.
  2. Try out the first Work from Home Idea that you find, because you saw the advert in the paper

…..and I have to say that most people that I come across in my industry join through the second option. Whether it was through a friend, a paper advert, a leaflet, a poster, an Internet advert, you have a look at it and it is pretty black or white – you either like the look of it, or you don’t.

If you don’t like the first Work From Home Idea that you see, then sometimes you just forget about it, until the next one that interrupts your day, and you then take a look at that one. However, at some point you may realise that you are not happy with some aspect of your life, and that one of these “Work From Home Ideas” might help.

At that point you might start looking into the different Work From Home Ideas to decide which one is best. Specifically, which one is right for YOU?

Now most Work From Home Ideas, or opportunities, are companies that have a Network Marketing, or Multi-Level Marketing structure.

That means that you earn money in two ways – firstly by selling some product, and secondly by introducing other people to the business, and showing them how to sell some product.

There is usually a limit to how much product you can sell yourself, and the bigger incomes are achieved by the team building aspect.

So when you start to think about which one is right for you, look at both aspects of the opportunity.

Firstly, the retail side. With most Work from Home Ideas, this is usually how you earn some money at the beginning. This will consist of selling some product. This can be done by, for example:

  • Sharing your experiences with your friends
  • Selling some to your neighbours
  • Having a party and selling some
  • Delivering catalogues to homes and businesses nearby

As this is how you will earn money initially, make sure you know how much you can earn by JUST selling the product, and how much can you REALLISTICALLY earn by just selling the product.

For example, if you need to use this Work From Home Idea to pay your £350 rent, which is due in four weeks, find out EXACTLY what you need to do to earn £350 in four weeks. It may involve selling 350 widgets, and you do that by sharing it with your friends. Do you have 350 friends who would all buy one? Or 35 friends who would all buy 10?

If you need to deliver 100 catalogues a day which will take you two hours each day – do you have that much time?

….and don’t just ask for theoretical earnings. Ask your potential sponsor to show you the actual earnings of people in his team, especially those who have just started. If he cannot, or is unwilling to, what is he hiding?

These questions should help you find the right Work From Home Idea for you.

What are the benefits of a Work From Home Idea? Being part of something BIG!

Whenever you ask someone about the benefits of a Work From Home Idea, you usually get the same answers:

  • No boss!
  • Financial freedom
  • Flexible Hours

Today I am going to explain one of the other benefits of most Work From Home Ideas. This might not seem like much, but it is HUGE!

When you start a Work From Home Idea, you get to choose who you work with: Like minded people with similar interests, who will often become friends for life.

In a traditional job, you have practically no control over who your work colleagues are. You apply for a position, if you’re lucky, you get it, and then you find you have to work with Jim, that obnoxious bigot from accounts, and Sue, that bully from payroll, and Graham, the guy who smells a lot, and always gropes the young women in the office.

You may not enjoy that, in fact you probably hate it, and your boss always bullies you, takes credit for anything good you do, and never praises you when you do something well, just moans whenever you make a mistake.

Sound Familiar?

Let me introduce you to your colleagues in your Work From Home Idea:

Your sponsor, who always wants to help you, because if you are successful, they are successful. They praise every success you have. They explain things to you gently when things go wrong.

Your new team member, who is keen, enthusiastic, and looks to you for help when they are just starting, thanks you for all the help you give, because they have joined this business to make money, and you are showing them exactly how to do that. And as you show your team members how to be successful, that makes you successful.

In the words of Zig Ziglar – “Help enough people get what they want, and you can have anything that you want”

That philosophy is so important in most Work from Home Ideas, and throughout Network Marketing, it is the cornerstone to your business – help people get what they want. As a result you have a lot of grateful, successful people working with you.

Can you imagine what that feels like? The people you spend most of your time with are grateful to you for the help you give them, and they are successful too!

….And guess what – the bullies, the ungrateful, the pessimistic, the moaners – that might join your Work From Home Idea – soon leave of their own accord because…., well because they just don’t get it, they don’t get the support because nobody wants to help them, and they are unwilling to help others, so they soon whither and die and move on to some other job.

As I said at the beginning, the ones that are left in your Work From Home Idea are the like-minded people with similar interests to yourself, with whom you choose to work. That’s right – You can choose who you work with! How fantastic is that.

In my Work From Home Idea, I have the pleasure of working with a fantastic bunch of people, who are now friends, and you can do the same!

If you’d like to meet me, and some of the people I choose to work with, then enter your details in the box on the right.

How do you get the most out of a Work From Home Idea?

What a great question.

If you have decided on a Work From Home Idea, how do you get the best out of it?

Well, I introduced the KEY Ingredient in any Work From Home Idea here. So once you know the KEY Ingredient, you need to focus on it.

What was that KEY Ingredient?

YOU!

So to rephrase the original question, I would ask How do you get the most out of YOU?

Well, I have a friend who might be able to help. Unfortunately he passed away a couple of years ago. However, he left us a lot of his teachings, so we can still learn from him today.

His name is Jim Rohn.

If you want to get the most out of yourself, and therefore out of your Work From Home Idea, you could do a lot worse than study him. Read, listen to, and watch, Jim Rohn.

Jim was a philosopher, on life, and on business. He had some fantastic Inspiration and Ideas that helped me when I first heard him, and still help me now. When you listen to him, he sounds like a helpful Grandfather, giving you advice of the wise and experienced. And he makes me laugh.  Every time that I listen to him. And I listen to Jim often. Over and over again.

So I want to give you a few of his philosophies and ideas, and then recommend some of his works, so that you can meet Jim for yourself. I hope you get on well.

“We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline, or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces, while regret weighs tons”

When you start your new Work From Home Idea, you must implement some disciplines. For example to talk to five new people about your business everyday.

Now if you follow that discipline every day, it might be difficult at times, but it will lead you and your Work from Home Idea to success. When you have achieved that success you will look back on the discipline that you followed and think – that weighed nothing at all. If you decide however that the discipline is too heavy, so you do not talk to anybody, then in your future that has debts, financial difficulty and stress, you might look back with a lot of regret, and that regret weighs heavily on your shoulders.

Another of Jim’s wonderful stories is that of the sower of seed. He uses the example of a farmer, sowing his seed, and how his harvest comes. Then he compares that with somebody trying to build a team in their Work From Home Idea. The farmer will lose some seed to the birds. Some will fall on stony ground, some will get strangled by thorns, but despite all of this, he will have a successful harvest if he follows some simple disciplines. The same is true of you when you speak to people about joining your Work From Home Idea.

These are just a few examples, and I have not done Jim justice at all, but if you would like to meet Jim, I recommend a couple of his books or CDs:

  • Building Your Network Marketing Business
  • 7 Strategies for Wealth and Happiness

I am using the philosophies I have learnt from Jim to build my Work from Home Idea. Look here to find out more.

Best wishes

Work From Home Ideas – Get the best support!

Looking to find the right work from home idea?  What things should you look out for?

In previous posts I explained how to check that the company behind the Work from Home Idea is offering a genuine, ethical , work from home opportunity – click here

I also explained what to look for in a sponsor,  or rather what to look out for! Click here

Here, I want to explain to you how to find out what support and training structure to look out for.

Now you may think that work from home ideas should be simple, and require very little support or training. That could be true if you just want to stuff envelopes for £1 an hour, but if you’re looking for something that gives you more satisfaction, an immediate income, and the ability to build a large residual income, then you will require some support and training.

There should be training on the retail side of the Work from Home Idea, for example different methods of selling the products, sharing with your friends and so on.

There should also be training on the team building side of the Work From Home Idea, if that is something you would be interested in (and to be honest, you should be, as that is where the big money and freedom is. You may not want to look at that straight away, but perhaps in the future!).

So ask your potential sponsor “If I join your Work From Home Idea, what training will I get?, and what support will I receive?”

Believe me, he will be delighted to hear you, because it shows you are serious, and curious. Two vital qualities for a successful team member in any Work from Home Idea.

He should be able to provide a variety of different training and support methods:

  • Meetings
  • Remote via webinars or conference calls
  • Books, CDs

Support via

  • telephone
  • face to face
  • text
  • Facebook

There should be a variety, because people learn  and communicate in different ways.

If you have a particular preference for one method, and the company behind your Work from Home Idea, and your sponsor can’t provide it, then you may not get the level of support and training that you need.

The level of support and training you receive in your chosen Work From Home Idea will make or break your success, so make sure you are happy with it before committing yourself.

Work From Home Ideas – Find the Right One

How on earth do you find the right Work From Home Idea?

There are so many out there aren’t there? How do you find the right one? Just go into Google and search on Work From Home Ideas: trillions!

Here’s a blog I posted earlier that will give you a start… Click Here

Now, if you’ve already followed the suggestions there, you may have found two or three work from home ideas that you are interested in. What should you do next?

My suggestion would be to meet up with your potential sponsor. For example my Work from Home Idea runs monthly Open Evenings, aimed at existing members AND guests. This would be a great opportunity for you to meet your potential sponsor, and find out what sort of people are in the business already!

When you meet your sponsor, ask him to show you proof of his earnings. There are many work from home ideas out there that claim to offer you unlimited income, but how much did your sponsor earn last month?

If he has been running his Work From Home Idea for 5 years, and last month received a cheque for £67, then you have to ask yourself if that is what you had hoped for. If he doesn’t wish to share it with you, then what is he trying to hide?

Meeting your potential sponsor will also give you a much better idea of what kind of support he will give you. If he has lots of team members at the open evening, and they are all chatting to him, and asking him for advice, then clearly he is a good sponsor. If he is pretty much on his own, despite being in the business for a while, you might get the feeling that he is not very good at supporting his team.

Do this for the two or three work from home ideas you have identified, and that should help you narrow it down to the right one.

Then go for it! You can spend a lot of time analysing and thinking about it, but there is nothing better than taking action. Getting started on your work from home idea should ignite your enthusiasm, and start to earn you an income straight away.

If you don’t feel enthusiastic about it, then you are not looking at the right work from home idea. Keep looking until you find one that enthuses you!

When I found my work from home idea, I couldn’t wait for the starter kit so I could get started straight away. Make sure you feel the same!

Work From Home Ideas – the pitfalls

Work From Home Ideas – the pitfalls

Today I want to explain a little more about one of the pitfalls you must avoid when starting your work from home idea: Lack of Discipline.

Simple Disciplines in your daily routine will earn you a fortune. Most of them are easy to do, but they are also easy not to do. And there lies the problem.

Let’s say you have decided you want to grow your work from home idea by explaining to your friends about your new opportunity, to see if they know anyone who might be interested in joining you.

So you call up Susan, and arrange to meet for a coffee. You take along your information pack. You have a nice chat, you explain how your work from home idea works, and what you have achieved so far, but Susan says she is not interested, and she doesn’t know anyone else who might be.

That is disheartening. You were sure Susan would be interested, she is your best friend. So you start to think twice about speaking to your other friends. What if they all feel the same? What if nobody is interested in your excellent work from home idea? The self-doubts creep in. You decide not to call Peter. Maybe you’ll feel more enthusiastic tomorrow.

But stop. You are already falling into bad habits.

The whole point of speaking to Susan was not to get her to join, but to make sure she knows you have started on a new work from home idea. You have sowed a seed.

A couple of months later, she has a really bad time at work, has a big argument with her boss. She gives you a call. “Hi, it’s Susan, are you still doing that work from home thing?” You say yes, explain that you have achieved two bonuses in your last 2 months, have made some great new friends, and you are treating yourself to a weekend away with your bonus. Suddenly she is interested in your work from home idea and wants to talk to you about it. The point is, the time is right for her now.

So your original meeting with Susan was a success! She remembered what you said, and when the time was right for her, she contacted you.

So the pitfall to avoid is thinking that everyone you speak to will want to join your work from home idea at that time.

Simply sowing the seed, explaining the work from home idea, lend them the opportunity video, is a success, whether they join you or not. When the time is right for them. They will come and see you.

So stick with that discipline – sow as many seeds as you can – success is how many seeds did you sow, not how many people joined up.

How do you find the Best Work From Home Ideas?

How do you find the Best Work from Home Ideas?

Now that’s a good question. If you are looking for a Work From Home Idea, where do you start?

I have to say that the best place to start is with your friends and family. If you  know someone that already has a work from home idea, and you like and trust them, then ask them about it.

Most Work from Home Ideas allow you to increase your income by introducing other people to the business, so your friend should be delighted that you are interested.

Ask yourself these questions….

  • Are they happy with their Work from Home Idea?
  • Are they successful?
  • Is it the sort of thing you would like to do?

Then, if you are happy with your answers, get started! Take action! Strike while the iron is hot and you have your enthusiasm for this new work from home idea.

If you don’t have any friends doing the sort of thing you would be interested in, then the best place for your research is the Internet.

With search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Ask, etc, you can find out everything you ever wanted to know about the different work from home ideas.

Make sure you are aware of the pitfalls, such as Work from Home scams, and also the disciplines you will need to Work from Home.

When researching the companies behind the Work from Home Ideas, there are many areas to consider, but two in particular are the company, and the people you will be working with.

The company – does it have a good track record? How long has it been around? There are lots of get rich quick schemes that have been set up in the last year or so, but look out for unsubstantiated claims of high earnings.

Check out the Direct Selling Association website – they have a list of members running Work from Home Ideas that meet the ethical standards of the DSA.

The people you will be working with. Most companies behind Work From Home Ideas work with a Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing structure. This means you will have a sponsor, who will introduce you to the company. They will earn commission from your sales, and they are responsible for supporting, coaching and training you. So choose wisely. If you end up with someone who just leaves you to get on with your Work from Home Idea, it can be a lonely life.

Again, most serious sponsors will have a website where they explain about their Work from Home Idea, and how their team works.

For example, you can find out about me and my work from home idea here.

Have a good look around, if you like what you read, and you like the company, and the Work from Home Idea, then make contact with the individual. Speak to him or her – you should be able to tell after a few minutes if you think they are someone you could like and trust, and that will make a huge difference to you and your new venture.

Work from home Ideas – The KEY Ingredient

Work From Home Ideas – The Key Ingredient

In a recent BLOG I introduced the KEY Ingredient in any work from home idea – YOU.

If you want to improve yourself where should you start?

My recommendation is to start educating yourself on people. As I said in this article about Work From Home Ideas,  the main cause of your exciting, challenging, rewarding, and frustrating days is how you communicate with people.

So in a moment I am going to recommend a couple of books. But before that I want you to think about how you learn best.

When you were at school you basically had a teacher stood at the front of the classroom telling you what to learn. You would also have some books to read.

But now that you are educating yourself you can choose how you do it.

Reading a book, of course; but have you ever thought of turning your car into a classroom? To help me improve my work from home idea, this is my favourite.

Instead of buying a book, buy the audio cd of the book. Then stick it in the car when you are driving to work, driving to the shops, driving to pick up the kids. Every time you drive anywhere, listen to another chapter of the book. You would be amazed how much you learn, squeezed into pockets of time you didn’t think you had. Soon your work from home idea will start to grow…

So – my first recommendations for you are….

  • Dale Carnegie – How to win friends and influence people
  • Florence Littauer – Personality Plus

Dale Carnegie’s book was written in the 1930’s but his principles on how to work with people earned him a fortune, and I run my work from home idea, in fact my life, by those principles. They are not new and earth shattering, and when you read it you say to yourself “I knew that…”, “that makes sense…”, but at the end of every chapter you come out thinking, right, I am going to do that from now on. It is amazing.

Florence Littauer’s book comes from a completely different angle. She explains how people tend to fit into different categories in terms of their character and behaviour. I am sure you all know a bubbly, life of the party person, that never finishes anything, or a shy studious type that finds it hard to make friends, but is thorough and precise in everything he does, and so on. If you can start to understand the differences, and how those people like to work with other people, you will find it a lot easier to work with them. This will have a huge impact on the success of your Work From Home Idea.

So – go out and buy a book, or an audio CD, and start educating yourself today.

In the next few days I am going to make some other recommendations on how to improve for work from home idea by improving that KEY ingredient: YOU!

Bye for now.

It’s a worry. You have explored  the idea of working from home. It would fit around your other commitments. It would give you that extra £50 – £100 a week, and build into something much bigger to transform your lifestyle.

You are excited, you cant wait to get started. But STOP! There are a lot of scams out there.

How do you know if this is a genuine Work From Home Idea, or a Scam?

Actually, it is fairly straightforward.

Firstly, all of the old “Pyramid schemes” are illegal, and I will explain why, and what has replaced them.

Secondly – there are national organisations that you can check before you commit yourself to a Work From Home Idea. I will explain about those, and how to check, too.

So – what is a pyramid scheme?

Basically, in a pyramid scheme, you paid a lump sum up front to join. Then, for everyone you got to join, you would receive a share of their up front payment. The more people that joined, the more you got paid. You would usually get your money back after 3-5 people joined. After that you were in profit. To persuade people to join, you just explained to them that they needed to get 3-5 people to join, then they would be in profit too. Easy!

However – as you can see, after a while, there is nobody left to ask to join. The pyramid is full. All of the ones at the top have made their fortune. All of the ones at the bottom are out of pocket.

These schemes are illegal. There was no product or service to sell to customers, or share with friends.

So what has replaced them? Most Work from Home Ideas now use a structure called Network Marketing or MLM – Multi-Level Marketing.

The concept is similar, but with ONE KEY DIFFERENCE.

You join the Work From Home Idea, and you make money by selling products or services. These could be health products, household goods, utilities – basically anything that people would pay for.

So you earn money from the Work From Home Idea by selling some product or service to friends, neighbours, people that you come across.

In addition – if you come across somebody who wants to earn some extra money, you can introduce them to the Work From Home Idea. However, YOU EARN NOTHING from simply introducing them to the business. This is the key difference to the old Pyramid Schemes. You only earn money when they sell some of the product or service. They earn their commission from the sale, and you get an extra commission or bonus on top.

So now you know how to tell if it is an illegal Pyramid Scheme or a genuine Network Marketing business.

Secondly – when you know the name of the company behind the Work From Home Idea – check if it is a member of the Direct Selling Association. Click Here for the DSA website. This will give you confidence that they are a genuine company, that meets the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

I did this when I was looking for a work from home idea, and I am really happy with the way things are going.

Work from Home Ideas – The KEY Ingredient

Work from Home Ideas – The KEY Ingredient

Running a Work from Home Idea, especially with an MLM, or Network Marketing, company is such an exciting, challenging, rewarding, frustrating way of building a wonderful lifestyle.

How can it be all of these things at once?

Well to put it simply, your journey to success is not a straight line.

You will have exciting days, when you bring new enthusiastic team members into your Work from Home Idea.

You will have challenging days when your new team members are finding things hard, and you need to look inside yourself to see how you can best support them.

You will have rewarding days when your goals come together, your team in your Work From Home Idea pulls together, and you and your team move up to a new level of increased rewards.

You will have frustrating days when all of your attempts to explain the wonder of your Work From Home Idea fall on deaf ears.

So what is the KEY ingredient to put all of these things together to make your incredibly successful work from home idea?

You’ve probably guessed. It is YOU!

In order to get more – you must become more.

….and how do you become more? Self-Education!

When I was at school I didn’t really work as hard as I could have done. I was at school because I was told to be there, not because I wanted to be there. Then, after I left school, spent some time working for other people, and then decided to start my own work from home idea, I suddenly WANTED to be educated. I enjoyed it. I could see the purpose of it.

So what do you need educating on? Wow – where do I start?

There are lots of areas that you should look at, and I will go into these in the next few days, but I suggest you start by learning about people. Look back at what causes your exciting, challenging, rewarding, and frustrating days? It is the people you communicate with.

If you can learn how to work better with people, do you think you will enjoy your Work From Home Idea more? Absolutely! Will it be more successful? Absolutely!

In the next few days I am going to expand on this, and other areas of the KEY ingredient. YOU!

Bye for now.

Work from Home Ideas – Can I build a residual income?

Work from Home Ideas – Can I build a residual income?

Aaaah, that magical term – Residual income, all from a Work From Home Idea.

What is that then? I have heard people talk about this Golden Fleece, this Holy Grail, this Residual Income. But what is it?

I hope I can explain this to you, because this is exactly why I chose my business, when I was looking for a Work from Home Idea.

As I explained in a recent article, with most work from home ideas (but not all, so choose carefully), you can increase your income by introducing other people into the business.

So let’s suppose you start your work from home idea, and start to earn some money from selling some product – an extra £50 a week, part time, maybe 8-10 hours a week. That’s not bad. Treat the kids to a trip to the cinema and a hot dog.

Your friend sees that you’re making a bit extra from your little work from home idea, and asks if she can do the same, and then your sister joins as well. So with a couple of team members also earning an extra £50 a week, with your added bonuses, you might now be on £75 a week.

You now have two people in your team, all doing the same work from home idea. Then your friend and your sister start doing the same as you, and they each introduce 2 friends. You now have your friend and her two friends, and your sister and her two friends. That makes six. Your bonuses go up, and you’re now on £100 a week.

Each of those friends does the same. And so on. You can see where this is going.

Now this might take you a month, or a year. It is up to you how quickly you build your work from home team. But the key point here is…. You are still doing your 8-10 hours a week. Maybe a couple of extra hours supporting and helping your team members in your Work From Home Idea.

Now – Residual income. This is where it gets really interesting. As you build your team, some of your team members will want to build teams too. And some of their team members will as well. So your Work From Home Idea will grow whether you want to or not.

So even if you decide to take a break, go away for a couple of months for some winter sunshine or whatever – you are still getting paid your commission from the sales of all of your team members in your work from home idea, and your team is growing even bigger because they are growing their teams! Can you see how massive this is?

In my Work From Home Idea, I regularly meet people who are earning £2000 a month, £5000 a month, £20,000 a month, and much more, whether they get out of bed in the morning or not! Now THAT is residual income.

Now when I started, I realised that I needed to work hard on my Work From Home Idea to get to that point. Most of these opportunities are simple, but not easy. The harder you work, the more you earn.

But when I started to understand how this worked, I suddenly saw a big picture, and got really excited, and I then saw a short, three minute video about Work From Home Ideas that really blew my mind!

Work from Home Ideas – What are the benefits?

Work from Home Ideas – What are the benefits?

In a recent post I explained about some of the pitfalls to look out for if you are used to working in an office, and decide to start a Work from Home Idea.

Today I wanted to explain a little about the benefits of work from home ideas.

I would say that, for me, the biggest benefit is the flexibility and freedom of time. I work hard on my Work From Home Idea – at least 60 hours a week – but I do it when I want to. Not when some boss says I must.

I have a daughter who has special needs, and I take her to a Day Centre at about 09:15 in the morning, and collect her at 3:15pm. Can you imagine me asking my boss for half an hour off just as I got to work, and then another half an hour off half way through the afternoon? I know what he would say!

If either of my kids is ill, they can stay at home, and I am around to look after them. Just look at the name – Work From Home Ideas. I work for myself, based at home, so I don’t need to ring my boss and ask for an emergency day’s leave, or “pull a sicky” myself. My wife works for an employer – Making someone else rich :-(, and it is much harder for her to get time off at short notice.

My work from home idea is growing really well, and now that I can afford to, I want to be able to take my wife away for a long weekend in London, or Paris, or Barcelona. I do not have to book holiday at short notice. All we need is a quick call to granny – “Could the Grandchildren come to stay?” “Of course I would love to have them!”, and then we’re off to the airport (always assuming my wife can get time off!)

In addition to the freedom and flexibility of time, there are also the financial rewards of most Work From Home Ideas.

I will go into the money aspects next time.

Work from Home Ideas – How much can you earn?

Work from Home Ideas – How much can you earn?

Recently, I have explained about why people would want a work from home idea,  why they look for ideas about working from home, and what are the benefits of a work from home idea in terms of your time.

Today I want to explain about the financial benefits of a Work From Home Idea.

Work from Home Ideas usually consist of two parts, two different ways to earn money.

Choosing which is the best Work from Home Idea for you might depend on which of these two parts you are most interested in, and which companies provide you with the best option for that part.

Let me explain about the two parts:

  • Moving Product
  • Recruiting others to move product

In the “bad old days” of Pyramids that were subsequently made illegal – you would get paid by recruiting someone who would pay to join your company. They could then get paid to recruit someone. However, all of that money was simply coming from payments made by new members joining. Nobody actually provided a service, or a product, that people wanted. Those schemes are illegal.

Nowadays, companies behind reputable Work From Home Ideas that are members of the DSA (Direct Selling Association) and approved by OFT (Office of Fair Trading), make money by selling a product or service. This could be a health product, household goods, gas, electricity, or whatever.

When you join a Work From Home Idea you should be able to make money immediately by selling, or sharing, the products with friends, family, neighbours, or anyone that you know or come across. This is sometimes called “Moving Product”. The company then pays you a commission on your sales. Easy Peasy. With some Work From Home Ideas there is a huge range of products, and some great methods of finding customers, so you can make a lot of money just by doing that part.

Secondly – if you come across someone else who might be interested in earning some extra money, you can introduce them to the Work From Home Idea, and you will earn commission on their sales as well as your own. Also, if that person introduces someone, you will receive commission on that person’s sales and so on. So you can see that you can build a large team, and typically the much bigger incomes come from building large teams.

So – my recommendation to you if you are looking for a work from home idea is to make sure that you find a company that allows you to make a good living just by selling the products, AND allows you to build an unlimited team, so that you can also build a much bigger income that way, if you choose.

You may not want to get into the team building side today, but in the future…..who knows?

I will explain some more about the team building aspects next time.

Why do people want Work from Home Ideas?

Why do people want Work from Home Ideas? Simply – because they want to work from home!

But why? Why on earth would you want to start a work from home idea?

Surely working from home is a nightmare?

  • Kids screaming around you all the time.
  • No peace from the phone.
  • Lots of distractions and “jobs” to do about the house.

So why do so many people want a Work from Home Idea?

Well I have been working from home now for five years, so let me tell you what I found. Working From Home is fantastic – IF you avoid the pitfalls!

In the beginning a Work From Home Idea is a strange and challenging. experience. It is usually exciting as you are starting out on a new adventure, but if you are used to working in an office environment, or a shop, then there is a certain structure, and a social aspect, which is hugely important.

You go to work at a certain time; you have your breaks at a certain time; you have certain responsibilities, targets, and goals, set by your manager or your employers. You have a coffee break, or lunch, with your colleagues, and you build friendships and relationships with those people.

All of these things are familiar, routine, and reassuring.

Work From Home Ideas are different. You will usually be self-employed, and you are often on your own. It is very tempting to take coffee breaks when you want. Do a few little jobs that needed doing around the house. Arrange to meet a friend for lunch, which takes two hours. Then suddenly it is the end of the day. You have been busy but you have achieved little.

So when you first start your work from home idea you need to put in place some self-disciplines.

Plan your day in advance. Work out what you want to achieve, look at the steps needed, and how long they will take. Then take action on those steps.

These disciplines might take you a while to get right, but if you do not do it, you will find yourself getting frustrated at yourself, and worse, getting into bad habits that are then hard to break.

But if you do put the disciplines in place, they will provide the structure that you are used to, and then you can start to realise some of the huge benefits of your Work From Home Idea.

I will go into these benefits, and other pitfalls to look out for, next time.

What are the best work from home ideas?

What are the best work from home ideas? Well, if you’re anything like me , you want to know a few things….

  • Is it a reputable company?
  • Is it an ethical Work from Home Idea?
  • Is it something I can do?
  • Does it meet my requirements?
  • How much will I get paid?

Firstly, let me separate two different kinds of businesses: working from home, and working at home.

Work From Home Ideas mean that you are based at home, but may need to go out to do some of the work, for example seeing customers. This kind of work is great if you want the flexibility and freedom that they provide. You can work the hours that suit you – around the school run, a couple of hours evenings and weekends around a full time job.

However, if you have to provide full time 24 x 7 for a family member, for example, then you may be more interested in working AT home.

Working AT home means that at least 90% of the work is done in your own home. For example stuffing envelopes, answering telephone calls, making telesales calls.

So make sure that the Work From Home Idea that you’re looking for suits your needs.

So, back to my questions:

Is it a reputable company? With the huge amount of information on the Internet it is fairly easy to find out information about any company behind a Work From Home Idea that you are interested in. When were they established? How many employees / agents / distributors do they have? This will give you a good idea about the company itself.

Is it something I can do? By this I mean is the Work From Home Idea something you would be happy doing? There might be a fantastic business opportunity where you persuade all of your friends to sign up to some dodgy money-lending scam – I guess you would not be happy doing that. But if it is using and recommending a product that you already use and like – perfect.

Does it meet my requirements? – Most work from home ideas are very flexible, but if you are making telesales calls, and need to do them from 4pm to 10pm every day, and so will not have time to make tea for the kids, then maybe it’s not right for you.

How much will I get paid? Many work from home ideas pay you based on commission, not on the hours you work. This is fine, but ask to see proof of payments – it is easy to make claims of thousands of pounds per month, without having to show evidence to back it up.

Good Luck in your search.

Work From Home Ideas

When I first started looking for Work From Home Ideas, I realised that not everybody wants to quit their day job.

Some do for sure, and for some it is forced upon them, but many people just want to earn a little bit of extra money part time – maybe a little extra cash earned at home in the evening when the kids have gone to bed, or at weekends around their regular commitments. Is this you? Does it sound appealing? If so, a Work From Home Idea might be just the thing.

You may not want to start a career working from home. You may just want a way to earn extra money to pay off the latest bill, afford a nice holiday, or treat the kids. Working from home might be just the way to do that.

That is a different situation from maybe 12 months ago when lots of people were going online to find a way to quit their day job, maybe because of stress at work. However, following the credit crunch, the Government cuts, and poor wage rises, many people NEED to look for ideas for working from home. They need to earn extra money simply to make ends meet.

So what ideas are out there, for working from home?

Well, help is at hand in the shape of the internet. What the Internet has done is open up a whole new world of earning opportunities, including ways to earn extra money I bet you haven’t even thought of. There is a huge numbher of Work From Home Ideas out there, just waiting for you top find the right one for you.
